Divine Explorations with Jody Doty - Jody Doty Soul Reader Call-In Show

    in Goals

Have you ever wondered what you were in a past life, if a loved one who passed is connecting with you and how? Are you in need of spiritual-energetic healing to release something you are holding onto, the past, another's energy, a belief?  Are you looking for clarity about a relationship? Do you have a question about your spiritual gifts?  On this episode of Divine Explorations with Jody Doty I'm opening up about me and sharing with you my clairvoyant-psychic, medium and spiritual healing gifts in short 2-minute question-answer sessions. You are welcome to call into this live broadcast with 1 question during the 60-minute time slot on Friday, April 29th, at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Tiime. CALL IN NUMBER 1-646-716-9645

About Jody Doty Soul Reader: I've done soul readings privately and quietly for 18+ years. During my daily meditations on the divine a little over a year ago, I received a beautiful message that it's time for me to expand from my small meditation hut and share my gifts more openly with the world. I'm blessed to have psychic, spiritual sight.  It's a gift I've always had, but also one developed through learning and practice. I like to look beneath the physical surface of the body, to the heart and soul. I share with others pictures, symbols, angels, colors and messages.

I hope you can join me on the show. I'll answer as many questions as I can within this live broadcast one-hour format. I look forward to "seeing" you then!

Black Thoughts and Theory: The Radio Show- Slavery, Gold & Sugar: DR & Haiti

    in History

Slavery, Gold, & Sugar: The Dominican Republic & Haiti

How much wealth has been stolen from the Melanated masses across the globe? We may never know, but we do know that everywhere we find white supremacy, we also find plundered or exploited resources. Join Alex Primo and Asha Zuri, Thursday April 28th, 2016 at 9 pm EST (6 pm PST, 7 pm EST, 8 pm CST) as we discuss the slave trade and plundering of the DR & Haiti.

Like Brazil, you will see the locals robbed of their land, worked to death, and mistreated solely for the benefit of racist Europeans. Gold and sugar removed with little regard for the individuals working the land. It should be clear by now that Melanated life meant little to nothing to these villainous, wicked, criminals from across the sea. Such a sentiment would make it obvious why the earliest known slave revolt, in the New World, happened here in 1522.

Meeting in Love as Deeply as You've Met Yourself: Love/Heal Through Trauma

    in Relationships

As we navigate throughout life, we go through growing pains of discernment of trust, good/bad experiences of love which mold our ability to accept care, concern, nurturing and love from others. The skill ability to freely give and receive love can become fragile from traumatic experiences which all too easily dented or damaged your sense vulnerability.

I’m a living witness that love has healing abilities and learning how to be loved and how to interact with those who express genuine kindness, care, nurture and attention for you is possible. I don’t advocate that you throw away the lessons the people are capable of great cruelty or that life brings life situations that you’ve learned through trauma. What I advocate is that you begin to live again through the use of better discernment of whose love that you are willing to receive and how to heal past your trauma into wholeness with the help of a loving partner.

Join your host Minister Dupree-Alridge, co-host A. Michelle Grogan, Janet Heard, Skye Vonn and special guest co-host Debby Applewhite as we have a candid and open dialogue about how love heals when applied properly. Dial in # (646) 668-2495 at 8:00 pm est.

    Honor Thy Mother

    in Lifestyle

"Honor Thy Mother" is a discussion about care-givers who care for their elderly and/or ailing parents. Did you know that over 65.7 million Americans currently provide care for a family member or loved one, according to the National Alliance for Caregiving, and 36% of those are caring for an elderly parent? As baby boomers begin to retire, those numbers are poised to keep growing.

Families are taking the lead role as caregivers for aging adults who need help handling their affairs or caring for themselves.  Providing this kind of assistance to an aging parent can be stressful and challenging. Are you ready for the demands, responsibilities – and rewards – of becoming a family caregiver?

Join Dweynie Paul who has been caring for her 78-year old mother for 10 years, and Carolyn Dinnold who has been caring for her 90-year old mother for 9 years.  Together, they will provide insight and understanding into what it means to live life as a care-giver.  We will discuss the preparation process, challenges, creating a balanced life, parent-child role reversal and more. Learning how to prepare for this change is one vital aspect of coping.

Author & Speaker Tinnie Garlington shares on Good Deeds

    in Motivation

Born and raised in Atlanta GA Tinnie Garlington has always

had a passion for teaching. At preschool age Tinnie would tell

the class "don't listen to the teacher, listen to me". As she

grew older "life" happened and she became a mother at the

age of 14. Even though she traveled from school to school,

living with anyone who would take her in, she never gave up

on learning. Through those experiences she began to write in

notebooks about how she was feeling and in some cases

make up stories so that she could escape her reality. A high

school dropout with no one to turn to but God, she decided at

the age of 20 to go back to school to obtain her GED. Times

were still tough, but she made it. Shortly after graduating

from Atlanta Job Corps, she decided to attend GMI Georgia

Medical Institute for her certification as a Medical Administrative Assistant.

The journey was still bumpy, but through her will to succeed, she graduated

with honors. With a certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green belt and

Professional Project Manager, Ms. Garlington is working on owning her own

consulting firm. After twelve years of working towards her Bachelor’s Degree

in Business Management, she will finally add the letters “BA” to her business

card in the Summer of 2016.
