Leap Into Excellence - Bad Start

    in Women

How many times have we said “Change your thinking change your life.” That statement had a major impact on my thinking. There are ideas that change your life in major ways because they make you change your beliefs,  your thinking and your actions.

There have been many AHA ideas, but for me, a major one was Stephen Covey and the 7 Habits of Effective People. Another one of these was William Bridges explanation of Change as a process in Managing Transitions. Last summer, it was The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks.  More recently in January it was the 100 Day Challenge with Gary Ryan Blair.

Alone, each is very powerful. Together, they can produce massive results. I want to share with you how I blended and transformed these ideas with my own to leap into excellence. You have your own powerful belief system. Add 1 or more of these ideas and really up your game!

Irate, Tireless Minority - Guest Raeford Davis for LEAP

    in Politics Conservative

Today's guest is former police officer from South Carolina, Raeford Davis. Mr. Davis contacted me to ask if I would have him on to talk about LEAP(Law Enforcement Against Prohbition)

His bio(edited for length) from the LEAP site.
"I was misguided for participating in the war on drugs and my actions as a cop made things worse."

Raeford Davis served the City of North Charleston police department for six years, including four years as a patrol officer and two as a special victims unit detective. At the time, North Charleston was ranked the 8th most dangerous city in America. Before becoming a police officer, he served in the United States Coast Guard Reserves. He graduated from Charleston Southern University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice.

His perspective changed after patrolling a drug-plagued neighborhood nicknamed “4-Way.” He explains, “Children as young as 10 were recruited by older gang members to openly sell drugs, rob customers, and intimidate local residents. The kids were specifically recruited to sell drugs because they received less punishment if caught. As soon as I locked up one of these dealers, another younger one would take his place.” He realized that as long as gangs could make immense profits selling drugs, they would continue recruiting kids.

Raeford believes that we should legally regulate drugs to stop the violence and victimization of communities.Today, Raeford lives in Charleston. He retired in 2007, after being injured in the line of duty.

Doing my best to help the Lord set the brushfires of freedom in the hearts of men and to restore America, God willing, to the beacon of freedom she was meant to be.

    quantum leap

    in Television

one of the greatest sci-fi show that started in 1989 and ended 1993 which air on nbc. it was like back to the future mix in with timecop. dr sam beckett leap through time and change history and events from happing. but there one showing where it was very dark and alot people talk about it when he leap into lee havery oswald. and the only person that could help sam was al who is a hologram and helps sam on these mission. there where times where sam leap into 80's to stop events from happing like boxer taking a dive so a chruch can be build.  but it final ending of the show was may 5 1993. and he never leap home cause ever time he leap was his leap home. why he never got home no one knows even the final show is weird it went no where. the whole point of the show is what if u can leap through time and change history and event from happing like jfk event or saving your own brother from getting shot and kill in 60's during the war. and only person to help and guide u through this is hologram name al who was in the wars and also been through alot in his past and present. there times where sam leap into young al to save his life and change his events. but there times sam and al had to face a evil leapers. and they made sure the events do happen and nothing get change. but there times sam also leap into women body. when he leap into these people sam there and people he leap into are kept in holding area until the events didn't happen. so sam there his body and mind but when he see's who he leap into when he look in the mirror. so they where there in spirt. but like i said when he leap the person he leap into where held in holding cell until sam beckett mission was over but sam always wanted to leap home. but never happen that why i wish they keep it going or bring it to the big screen. and he finally leaps home. i truely believe that it ended so soon and was taken away from us so soon.
