    Speak Business- daily Broadcast

    in Business

Back in '63 The Beatles was totally unknown in the United States. Louise Harrison , the sister of Beatle's legend George Harrison, promoted the Beatles to the local media in the Benton area, and she will broadcast daily to any media outlet that would listen. Even, the official manager Brian Epstein refused to answer or listen to Louise's long letters filled with promoting strategies, or make Louise an official band rep,  Louise wrote letters after letters, picked up the phone, petitioned newspapers, radio and TV stations, she went on a mission to make the news about her brother! Louise launched the "daily Beatle reports nationwide." breaking the news into America.

Louise never stop  speaking to the " global family of Beatle people",  she has given countless interviews, worldwide, and, for the past ten years, managed Liverpool Legends, a Branson-based Beatles tribute band.

We have the great priviledge of listening to Louise Harisson story today and she inspires people round the world to be more. What it takes to be Present?

Son To A Father with CEO Cole Williams

    in Dads and Family

My name is Cole Williams and I carry the stories of a generation of boys and girls who are fatherless. I was born and raised in Benton Harbor, MI, to a single mother. I met my biological father for the first time when I was 29 years old.

During my youth and even into my adult years I had always wondered who my father was. I wondered what we might have in common. I wondered what fatherly wisdom he would have shared with me. I had no answers to the things I wondered about.

I became a father at age16, I was determined to be a permanent presence in my son’s life. So that if he ever had questions he wondered about I would be there to answer them. Since I never had a father, it was difficult trying to be the father I never knew. I was a boy raising a boy. I had to learn while on the job of life about how to be a man and a father. My experiences and my struggle fuel’s my passion for working with youth and families across America.

A Valiant effort to little Acclaim

    in Writing

An episode on Valiant comics. The imprint started by former Marvel Editor-in-Cheif around the same time as Image comics. Notable for their surprisingly mature approach to writing and creation, as in actual depth as opposed to violence and nudity.

How three nearly forgotton franchises from the 60's that couldn't have been more different got stitched together into a coherent superhero universe. How this company grew to become a solid #4 publisher during the speculator boom, and how it all came crashing down when the company was sold to Acclaim... yes the sub-par video game company.
