My name is Cole Williams and I carry the stories of a generation of boys and girls who are fatherless. I was born and raised in Benton Harbor, MI, to a single mother. I met my biological father for the first time when I was 29 years old.
During my youth and even into my adult years I had always wondered who my father was. I wondered what we might have in common. I wondered what fatherly wisdom he would have shared with me. I had no answers to the things I wondered about.
I became a father at age16, I was determined to be a permanent presence in my son’s life. So that if he ever had questions he wondered about I would be there to answer them. Since I never had a father, it was difficult trying to be the father I never knew. I was a boy raising a boy. I had to learn while on the job of life about how to be a man and a father. My experiences and my struggle fuel’s my passion for working with youth and families across America.
An episode on Valiant comics. The imprint started by former Marvel Editor-in-Cheif around the same time as Image comics. Notable for their surprisingly mature approach to writing and creation, as in actual depth as opposed to violence and nudity.
How three nearly forgotton franchises from the 60's that couldn't have been more different got stitched together into a coherent superhero universe. How this company grew to become a solid #4 publisher during the speculator boom, and how it all came crashing down when the company was sold to Acclaim... yes the sub-par video game company.
Join us on Thursday, May 28 at 11 a.m. for a reporters' roundtable discussion as Record Talk Radio broadcasts its 100th episode.
So far, our guests will include Record reporters Linda Moss, Scott Fallon and Mary Jo Layton.
Moss will talk about her story on the contested Republican primary race in Rutherford where incumbent Joseph DeSalvo is facing challenger Daphne Williams-Fox, the grand-daughter of famed poet William Carlos Williams.
The fate of the performing arts center that bears Williams' name is one of the key issues in the race, which GOP voters will decide next week.
Fallon will talk about his recent story on the leaf munching moths and other insects headed our way this summer.
Layton will discuss her recent stories on a data breach at a billing company used by emergency room physicians.
If you have questions you'd like me to ask our guests, please forward your suggestions to me at: email@example.com.

Tory Allyn currently resides in Upstate New York. Although born in Syracuse, he was raised in the quaint town of Baldwinsville with his brother and two sisters, who drove him into becoming the crazy person he is today. As a child, he made up many a tale. Some funny; others dark and brooding, but all started him on the path to writing. Today, his nephew, lovingly referred to as The Monster Child, is his partner in crime. Most days, you will see them playing ball at a nearby park, going for a dip in the backyard pool or snowboarding on a popular mountainside. Tory has written his first novel titled, ALTER EGO, has completed a second novel titled, ALTERED STATE, and is currently working on the third which will be titled, ALTER BOUND. All three are a series entitled, THE DAVENPORT DECREES.
