Healing Childhood Emotions and Traumas with Larry Kiser

    in Energy

The Voice of Change welcomes Larry Kiser to discuss the importance of healing childhood emotions and traumas.

Often times as Adults we end up being run by emotional reactions to life circumstances and events and wonder afterwards why our reaction was so violent, so colored by anger or some other emotion.  Very likely these reactions stem from family culture, childhood trauma, ancestral influence and past life conditions buried in the subconscious mind.  Before we reach the age of 9 it is said we are already programed for the rest of our life unless we receive some assistance.  The child’s mind has no filter.  During this call Larry will address how these “programs” effect or life and do some clearing processes to “de-program" listeners so that moving forward in life can be easier and not run by unconscious patterns.

Larry Kiser has worked in the healing field for over 20 years.  His practice is influenced by study and work with Russian scientists, an ex CIA operative, Mayan Elders, a Shaolin Master, the Emissaries of Divine Light, various Spiritual teachers, years of working with clients, and his own Spiritual Guides. His teaching and practice includes national and international work in the U.S., Canada, Germany, Latvia, Mexico and Hong Kong. As a former lawyer he taught classes in universities and lectured in various states.

WolfHours ~ INDA DEN with QueensMind & Mowfpeace 323.927.2913

    in Poetry

    Hosted By: QueensMind and Mowfpeace

Wolfhours was conceived in the mind of Shontai Ralieck George a poet ,wordsmith, barz spitter master from Brooklyn New York. Though he now resides in the southern states he still has that gritty streetwise intelligence that makes him one of the most intriguing sought after figures within the poetic community.

The wolfhour concept basically presents a way for everyone to tell their story. Everyone no matter what background or lifestyle, profession or trade, religious or non-religious ..everybody has a story to tell. The guy on the corner begging for change to the lawyer in the courtroom pleading his/her case before a judge , they all have stories to tell. You might have been driving home from work when suddenly a car crosses three lanes just to get in an accident with  you. By via of said incident you now have something to get off your chest. Well let it off!!!! We call this a vent. Venting is what the wolfhours movement prescribes if you got some stored up energy that needs to be released in the form of words. Written, spoken, even singing there is no one way to vent.

This blog talk radio show will give wordmiths nationwide a platform to showcase their skills in front of a virtual audience. Spoken word is the new hip hop. The body of the old hip hop is dying so it is up to us as word smiths to preserve this art form by embracing this movement through spoken word. So whether you are a bar spitter ..ballad writer, erotica, political, conscious or what have you. Its time to represent this art to the fullest. As and added bonus we will be featuring some of the hottest spoken word artist in the poetic community, given our callers the opportunity to call in, get in que to spit or ask the featured guest a question. Even if you just want to call in  an enjoy the show either way the airwaves  will be set a flame.

Reader's Entertainment Radio Show Presents: Tina DeSalvo

    in Books

You'll want to tune in this Thursday, July 30th at 6pm EST. Author Tina DeSalvo joins me to chat about her books, life, and her Friend's Fight Together initiative. She enjoys writing stories where she can use her imagination, humor, empathy, and personal experiences to create characters and situations that she hopes will entertain readers. Her latest novel, Jewell: A Second Chance Novel, is Volume 2 in the series.

    Book Blurb:

Once invited into New Orleans' historic mansions to evaluate prized antiques, Dr. Jewell Duet held a coveted professorship at a top university. With her deep knowledge of Louisiana history and antiquities, she was the go-to person for anyone requiring professional appraisals. But, one hasty decision cost her both her reputation and possibly her freedom. Now, as she waits to discover if her future includes prison, Jewell knows that taking the job at Sugar Mill is necessary if she is to support her beloved grandmother who has advanced dementia.

Charming, sexy lawyer Beau Bienvenu's attraction to the intriguing historian vies with his distrust of her motives. Beau has one simple goal when it comes to the family that rescued him and made him part of their clan...protect them at all costs. He doesn't trust Jewell, nor her reason for taking the lowly job at Sugar Mill Plantation. What is she really up to? Is it possible Jewell and her quirky grandmother are there to try to profit from a Bienvenu family mystery? If so, both women are out of luck.

Jewell and Beau are at odds about almost everything. The only things they agree on are that family is everything...and that their mutual attraction is inconvenient.

Hope, Love and Second Chances Continue in the heart of Cajun Country.

Donald Trump's lawyer apologized Tuesday for comments he made to a "Daily Beast" reporter saying, "You cannot rape your spouse."

The lawyer, Michael Cohen, made threats against a reporter who was writing about a decades-old allegation of rape by Trump's first wife, Ivana Trump. Ivana Trump used the term "rape" to describe a sexual encounter between her and her husband when she was giving a deposition during the couple's 1990 divorce.
Ryan Williams' ongoing knee problems have cost him a prime opportunity in the Dallas Cowboys' unsettled backfield.

The team announced Williams' release on Tuesday after the running back underwent another knee procedure in June.

A Cardinals second-round pick in 2011, Williams is a reminder of just how fragile the careers of promising running backs can be.
He was viewed as a future star before rupturing his patellar tendon in his rookie training camp. Unable to stay out of the trainer's room, Williams has managed just 164 yards on 58 carries (2.8 yards per carry) since then.

Despite that lack of production, the Cowboys had high hopes for Williams after signing him to a two-year contract with a $240,000 signing bonus in January.

  • How do we end police brutality?

    in Entertainment

Unless you've been under a rock or on a distant planet you have seen the plethora of Black citizen being brutalized by law enforcement. We march, We plead and we beg for justice and our cries seem like they are falling on deaf ears.

They tell you "All Cops Aren't bad". If this is true why is it that every time a Cop becomes a whistle-blower he quickly becomes an Ex-Cop?

A Baltimore City cop who attempted to hold his fellow officers accountable for on the job misconduct has been intimidated to the point of leaving the police force entirely.

Detective Joe Crystal became a target of intimidation for his entire department after testifying against other officers in a misconduct case.  Following his testimony, he received threats from other officers, and even found a dead rat on his car one day.

“He saw a wrong and decided he couldn't live with himself and did the right thing and was punished, I think that’s just unbelievable,” Nicholas Panteleakis, Crystal’s lawyer said.
