Born into a musical family, Lisa Johnson, a very gifted singer/songwriter/psalmist and author, discovered her talent for writing and singing at the age of two. Even at that age, she was able to absorb music and lyrics instantaneously and loved to sing. Her greatest inspiration falls into the hands of her parents who were members of gospel quartet groups that travel abroad throughout the state of Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama. As a teenager, Lisa displayed her musical talents by participating in talent show competitions, musicals and plays. It was then that she realized the value of her singing ability and won many first place recognition awards. As she continued to write, she also began to focus on putting together songs for her first studio recorded gospel album entitled This Time - a personal CD that has the ability to capture the listener with its soulful contemporary songs and heartfelt lyrics. Lisa is now back with her sophomore gospel album entitled How I Made It Through which shows not only growth and character within her writing and vocal ability, but also the fun side of her. This album is guaranteed to keep you moving as well as in worship. You can take a test drive of the single ‘Shout About It’ at http://lisaajohnson.reverbnation.com In 2010 Lisa started a community magazine From Lisa’s Corner. The Magazine which is designed to make known those talents and dreams that no one has noticed or forgotten within the community. One being a book of poetry entitled Diary of Expressions with her husband Jerome Johnson, Sr. (2003) and the other entitled Raising A Proverbs 31 Woman Self-Esteem, Self-Worth, And Self-Discovery Of A Young Woman with LaTracey Copeland-Hughes (2014).
Sometimes in our fast paced world it’s difficult to imagine our communities of the past. Historian Rui Santos detailed an average trip by horse and carriage from Boston to Plymouth in the 1830s lasting some 10 hours. Fifty years later a new form of transportation would take center stage: the bicycle.
And it was during that time period between 1880 and 1900 that the intersection of race, athleticism and cycling came to mean new forms of freedom and expression.
Lorenz Finison’s remarkable new book, Boston’s Cycling Craze paints the landscape of how a host of visionaries took to the streets and byways … all for the glory of the bicycle. Black, White, Asian and Biracial…they are all in the book and all chronicled in detail during these pioneer years of cycling.
Come explore with us as we turn back the clocks to the golden age of bicycles during and era worth noting in the annuls of American history.

GUILTY VERDICT! KENNETH COPELAND, CREFLO DOLLAR, JOYCE MEYER, BENNY HINN, FRED PRICE. DECEIVERS MISREPRESENTING JESUS CHRIST AND GOSPEL OF CHRIST.
GUILTY ALL 4 COUNTS:
SELLING 1-COUNTERFEIT RIGHTEOUSNESS, 2-COUNTERFEIT HOLY SPIRIT, 3-COUNTERFEIT SALVATION AND 4- MAKING FALSE PROMISES IN EXCHANGE FOR MONEY!
DO NOT LET POPULAR GAINSAYERS WHO PROMISE YOU THE RICHES OF THIS WORLD DECEIVE AND PREVENT YOU FROM DISCOVERING AND EXPERIENCING THE GENUINE PROMISE OF THE NEW COVENANT. THE PROMISE OF THE NEW COVENANT JESUS TITHED HIS FLESH AND BLOOD SACRIFICE FOR WAS "ETERNAL LIFE" IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD. THE KEY TO UNLOCKING THIS PROMISED BLESSING OF GOD IS THROUGH RECEIPT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT EVIDENCED BY SPEAKING IN TONGUES. IN OPPOSITION TO THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST DOLLAR AND COPELAND TEACH THAT JESUS DIED SO CHRISTIANS COULD RECEIVE EXCESSIVE EARTHY RICHS THAT ALLOW CHRISTIANS TO LIVE A LIFE STYLE OF OPULENCE.
TONIGHT! ** ABSOLUTE PROOF**--NEW COVENANT MANDATORY TITHES IS A LEGAL FRAUD!
A new Christian theology has arisen. A new Babylonian ideology has replaced the spiritual gospel of Jesus with a doctrine of greed and lust. It is a theology based upon the principles of economic prosperity and capitalism. Spiritual salvation has been replaced with aspirations of becoming rich and acquiring the highest degree of financial prosperity possible by any means necessary.
Mandatory new covenant tithes is a fraud! The bible does not substantiate the prosperity gospel taught by men such as Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Copeland. A 10 per cent mandatory tithe is not commanded by God under the new covenant?

Taking a leap of faith Conley began his professional career when he moved to Los Angeles with David Townsend. It was there he joined the group Port Authority in 1976. After an un-released record with 20th Century Records Conley left the group to join Mandrill in 1977. In 1978 he made his television debut with Mandrill performing on the popular show Soul Train hosted by Don Cornelius. Conley released only one album with Mandrill, New Worlds, in 1979. Conley left the group and after a short hiatus Townsend and Conley collaborated on the beginnings Surface. When Conley became the founder of the Multi-Platinum Soul/R&B group Surface in 1983 the original group consisted of Conley and Karen Copeland. Townsend collaborated by writing and producing. In that same year Surface released their debut single, Falling in Love performed by Copeland, which peaked at #84 on Billboard's Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 4 weeks. In the U.K., the song peaked at #67 on the U.K. Singles chart. In addition Surface recorded 2 more singles with her; When Your Ex Wants You Back and Stop Holding Back. After Copeland left the group in 1984 Bernard Jackson and David Townsend replaced her by becoming the Surface we know today. More success came in 1985 when Conley became a staff writer for Screen Gems BMI. Shortly after in 1986 Surface landed a record deal with Columbia leading them to release their debut album in 1987. The album peaked at #55 on the Billboard 200 and #11 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart. In 1989,
