GEORGIANNA RIVERA! GET HELP FOR YOUR RELATIONSHIP!

    in Spirituality

For most of my adult life, I worked as a Registered Nurse confident in my abilities to heal and build positive relationships with others. My happy and optimistic mindset was a benefit to me in many ways. However, I was unaware of the lessons my relationships were teaching me.

One day I found myself in a wheelchair with a fractured ankle from a fall, in physical pain and having difficulty completing the simplest tasks. At the same time, I found myself in the midst of stressful relationships that were not what I had hoped for or believed they were. How did I get here? What went wrong?

Before I found my way, I struggled with stress and anxiety. I was overwhelmed and felt swept along with the ups and downs of this experience and felt pushed to outcomes I believed I was powerless to control. I was forced to stop and to really think about what was happening.

I made the decision to believe that I could change my experiences and outcomes by changing myself; to let go of negative thinking and feeling like a victim. I searched for a higher, softer way of feeling, thinking and understanding which led me on a journey of self discovery and the magic of the universe.

I came to believe that I could choose what I was feeling, which was not affected by anyone or anything around me. I became a true healer and spiritual teacher and started by healing myself.

The wisdom I want to share with the world as a result is: You can be the change that transforms your world. You no longer need to live in fear, anxiety and overwhelm. Your relationships can be ones of love, joy and peace. You can be powerful and choose your feelings and thoughts which will change your life.

NFC West - NFL Preview; can Russell Wilson lead Seahawks to a third Super Bowl

    in Sports

Pete Carroll will never dodge his play call, in the Super Bowl.  However, there are more important things on Carroll's mind, as the 2015 season starts.  The biggest concern is how will the Seahawks win the NFC West, for a third consecutive year.  The St. Louis Rams have used additional picks, from the trade with Washington to stockpile young talented players. Often injured Sam Bradford is no longer the quarterback.  The Rams traded for Nick Foles, who is coming off a broken collarbone.  However, the addition of Todd Gurley could solidify the running game.

Carson Palmer is returning from a knee injury, in Arizona.  He hopes that he can continue were he left off last season.  The Cardinals defense willed them to a playoff berth, after a carousel of quarterbacks stood behind center.  Still a major concern is running back.  Andre Ellington is the starter, but can he handle the workload?

The fiasco with Jim Harbaugh is over, and the San Francisco 49ers have moved on.  A suprise move to many, they named defensive line coach Jim Tomsula, head coach.  Nothing went right for the 49ers one year ago.  Chris Boreland looked to be a budding star but opted to retire, after one season.  Defensively, they are going to have to try and find an indentiy.  Offensively, long time running back Frank Gore has departed.  This opens the door for Carlos Hyde to be the primary back.  Will Tomsula work with Colin Kaepernick, or try to make him a pocket passer.  There are many questions surrounding the 49ers?

Finally, Jimmy Graham is the answer inside the red zone, according to Seattle Seahawk fans.  After back to back Super Bowl appearences, the Seahawks traded for one of the best tight ends, in the NFL.  The biggest loss is the person whom they traded, Max Unger.  Russell Wilson is a scrambling quarterback, but you still need to protect him.

Carlton Pearson and Josh Duggar: Hidden lives coming to light

    in Christianity

With the news about Carlton and Gina Pearson's divorce and Josh Duggar's secret affairs, is it time for Christian leaders to be more transparent and if so, how should they go about doing it? I've always wondered why lay persons are more tolerant of someone's fall from grace after it happens instead of allowing leaders to show their own fallibilities How transparent should Christian leaders be to those they serve? Let's talk about this and more with Pastor Lorenzo Neal

A More Sure Word of Prophecy

    in Christianity

The kingdom of God comes not with outward show. It comes through the gentleness of the inspiration of His word, through the inward working of His Spirit, the fellowship of the soul with Him who is its life. The greatest manifestation of its power is seen in human nature brought to the perfection of the character of Christ. MH 36.2
The followers of Christ are to be the light of the world; but God does not bid them make an effort to shine. He does not approve of any self-satisfied endeavor to display superior goodness. He desires that their souls shall be imbued with the principles of heaven; then, as they come in contact with the world, they will reveal the light that is in them. Their steadfast fidelity in every act of life will be a means of illumination. MH 36.3

I love it when I see people begin to have a hunger and a thirst for our Lord, when previously they did not have their own personal relationship with him."
