Unwelcome Guests #724 "Calling a SCAD, a SCAD"
PARTIAL SUMMARY: Our main talk this week is a 90 minute lecture by Professor Lance deHaven-Smith. His lecture is relaxed and he takes occasional questions from the audience. He begins his talk by outlining the difficulties he has had finding US publishers for his work. While peer reviewers rarely challenged its quality, US journals in particular were loathe to publish it, apologetically turning him away. He explains this by its forthrightness, and he names Chris Hedges and Noam Chomsky as two individuals who while they do not shy away from drawing attention to the misdeeds of the leaders of the US government, are nevertheless reluctant to explicitly call them crimes - never mind to face the truth of false flag attacks. Many government leaders, he says are not merely morally deficient, they are criminals and murderers - and we should face up to that.
The guys break down the College Football Playoff Committee's 4th edition of weekly rankings, looking specifically at the rise of the Oklahoma Sooners & Michigan State Spartans as it coincides with the step back for Notre Dame from the Top 4.
The Iowa Hawkeyes, UCLA Bruins, Stanford Cardinal, Clemson Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide also get the FBF double-check treatment.
The guys then talk Heisman Watch, with Brady making a case for a surprise inclusion in New York, while Matt weighs the chance for a running back winner.
Packed show, hope you enjoy!

This is a black arts and culture site. We will be exploring the African Diaspora via the writing, performance, both musical and theatrical (film and stage), as well as the visual arts of Africans in the Diaspora and those influenced by these aesthetic forms of expression. I am interested in the political and social ramifications of art on society, specifically movements supported by these artists and their forebearers. It is my claim that the artists are the true revolutionaries, their work honest and filled with raw unedited passion. They are our true heroes. Ashay!

'Arrow' 4x07 - 'Brotherhood' Review
So Andy Diggle is back. Not as a ghost... well, I guess he his, kinda. So Diggle wants to take him back, but doesnt want the team to help. Of course the team is going to help! Even Ray! Also, Captain Lance grows some big shiny balls, and Damien Darhk continues to be one scary mother! Until Thea shows up... Speaking of Thea, she's dating Oliver's campaign manager and receiving offers to kill pedophiles from her dad--all in the name of sating that damned bloodlust. Sigh, good times.
How grateful and exicted are turkeys for Thanksgiving to you think? :)...
We've rather largely lost our way, bit by bit, with a myopic fascination with food as the defining moment of what now consititues our Thanksgiving haven't we?
But, this deficit of heart is beginning to take its toll in the sensibilites of more and more people as they reflect how unfilling this holiday can end up being at the end of the day when our guests can't leave quickly enough after the food has been eaten.
I've been in some homes where the feast is more like an in-home fast food feast and in a blink of the eye the cooks are abandoned, the relationship time together goes up in a puff of tail--pipe smoke as the cars speed away to the malls. Anti-climatic, indeed!
Days of preparation. Feasting. And everyone sticking their face into their cell phones and rushing off to the nearest and biggest sale of their desires for getting something for a deal. And there the chefs and company experience an anticlimatic event.
The heart of visiting and sharing our company, stories, and being drifts away from the hearth of our homes and enters the competition for goods. Is that becomeing an unappealing feeling-experience for you... more empty, dissapointing, useless than something to celebrate and something more along the lines of a hefty investment of time with a disproprtionate return (ROI sucks)?
When the preparation far outweighs the event, it fails to excite and satisfy in the same deligthful manner. Let's visit a warm hearth together and consider ways we can return our families to a Thanksgiving that feeds our belly and our Souls!
Join us, Sharon Quinn and Will Gable
NFLExporter.com Week 11 exclusive Pure NFL segment with Colts Media.com writer Kevin Bowen. In this segment Kevin Bowen talks about the Colts chances at winning games without star Quarterback Andrew Luck and other important topics concerning the Indianapolis Colts heading into Week 11 of the 2015 NFL season.
Matt Chatham and Brady Quinn take the hot-off-the press playoff rankings and talk through the top three 1-loss teams in the rankings (Alabama, Notre Dame & Oklahoma). Did the committee get it right this week?
The guys also dive into the bizarre situation of Brady's alma mater invading Boston and Fenway Park this weekend for another installment of the Shamrock Series, this year with the Irish playing a "home" game in Boston College's backyard. Is it right to plaster "Notre Dame" all over the hallowed grounds of a Boston institution like Fenway?
The fellas finish up looking ahead to the weekend matchups with big playoff implications, including Ohio State- Michigan State, TCU-Oklahoma and Baylor-Oklahoma State. .
