Bestselling author Lana Penrose was born in Sydney, Australia. Her various incarnations have included record company promotions gal, music journalist, MTV producer and personal assistant to an iconic pop sensation known the world over (that would be ME). She penned the acclaimed bestseller 'To Hellas & Back' as her mind and relationship melted during a relocation to Greece. Her second release 'Kickstart My Heart' followed the roller coaster experiences of being single in London and 'Addicted to Love', a mini-memoir, completes her trilogy. Lana has just completed her 4th book, tentatively titled 'The Happiness Quest' about her journey to overcome clinical depression. She is hilarious and we spend more time laughing in this chat than responsible adults probably should. To find out more about Lana visit www.lanapenrose.com.au or check her out on books on Amazon.com

We have a very special Star Chamber Show this Wednesday at 9pm EST, featuring recording artist and performer G Tom Mac!
In writing, singing & creating the masterpiece "Cry Little Sister" as the theme song to the now classic film "THE LOST BOYS," GERARD McMANN hit a deep & provocative nerve in his career as both a recording artist & live performer.
Only thing was, when the film released in 1987, he was fed up with the music scene's "business" and stopped touring. He then changed his name to G TOM MAC as a result of no one ever pronouncing his real name correctly.
Born in Birmingham, England, Gerard spent his early years listening to The Beatles, David Bowie & Stevie Wonder. “I was inspired by various pop and R&B artists at an early age.” His family moved from England to New York City when Gerard was 11 and then a few years later moved to the Midwest. “When I was there I started learning guitar and the bass and realizing I had a voice, I started a band which played in clubs all over the Midwest.”
G TOM MAC went on to write songs for legendary singers such as Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin and Roger Daltrey of The Who. An array of contemporary Hip Hop artists, such as Ice Cube and Digable Planets, as well as KISS, Carly Simon and Eminem started to cover G Tom Mac's songs. Last year G Tom Mac earned a Grammy on Eminem’s "RECOVERY" album in which Eminem sampled him in the song "You're Never Over." Having had songs in over 50 films including Chasing Amy, Banger Sisters, No Way Home & more than 100 TV shows including Vampire Diaries, Scrubs, and the Big Bang Theory that still continue to license G Tom Mac's music.
Our guest on the Star Chamber Show this coming week is Jerry Benns! An author, editor, blogger, and publisher, Jerry is an active and rising force in the indie book world! We will be talking about events, books, and his new company Charon Coin Press, among other topics! All the fun starts at 9pm EST, this coming Wednesday night!
For a little more about Jerry:
Jerry Benns started writing when he was quite young. However, he began seriously writing in 2010 by launching his blog, TripThroughMyMind.com. Since then, he has expanded the site to include interviews with authors, book reviews, and sections to encourage building the writing community. Jerry’s deep-seeded enjoyment of reading and writing now has him embarking on the exciting journey of publishing by launching Charon Coin Press.
In 2014, after becoming the editor for the State of Horror anthology series, Jerry pursued the opportunity to purchase the series, and others, in order to release them under his new publishing company, Charon Coin Press. Jerry brings his experience from his previous marketing/branding company, as well 15 years of experience as a networker and project manager to Charon Coin Press.
Jerry continues to write short stories for a collection to be released later in 2014. He is also currently working on the first novel in his speculative fiction series, The Meek Shall Inherit.
So join us this Wednesday in the Star Chamber, at 9pm EST and meet the wonderful Jerry Benns!
Alternative Solutions for European Problems
Kyle is joined by Lana Lokteff from Red Ice Creations for a discussion of her experiences growing up, the factors that helped shape her worldview, her work with Radio 3Fourteen, how she thinks Europe can be rescued from foreign domination, and what her ideal society would look like.
Biography: Lana was born of Russian American ancestry. Ever since she can remember, she has been interested in the mysterious and the unexplainable. Because of her interest in metaphysical concepts, Lana majored in physics and minored in philosophy hoping to find the bridge between the two worlds, only to become disappointed by the accepted curriculum. Lana left school to pursue an artistic path in music, film and writing. Today, she is the hostess of Radio 3Fourteen and Contributor to Red Ice Creations. Currently, she is manufacturing an organic clothing line for men and women called Lana’s Llama that will be available online this fall.
