Essaï (pronounced S-I ) is a multifaceted artist. He is a songwriter, singer, keyboardist, music producer and an actor.
He composed his first songs at the age of 12.
France’s First Lady Bernadette Chirac asked him to write and produce the title “Un peu de moi”. That single went gold.
Essai then collaborated with Michel Legrand. They co-produced 25 songs together for “Les Demoiselles de Rochefort” and had a successful run at Palais des Congres in Paris.
He then wrote “Saimer est interdit” for the famous musical comedy “Le Roi Soleil” for Warner Music France. That album went double Platinum. Over 3 million tickets were sold during the three years of its run.
In 2008, he composed the soundrack for the film “Incontrolabe” starring Michael Youn.
Essai has also written and arranged musical pieces for many shows in one of the most famous and mythical Parisian Cabarets, “Bobino”. There he directed entire musical productions.
Today, Essai has decided to take a big step and cross the Atlantic to the United States where his musical influence originated. He loves the thought of collaborating with the cats from Detroit, Memphis and Los Angeles.
He put his soul into recording the new album. He is looking forward to meeting up with his new production partner, music veteran, Kerry Gordy, who promised to feed him some black eyed peas, candied yams, collard greens and fried chicken.
CHERYL, a native of Gastonia NC presently resides in Los Angeles CA. As the owner of independent record label Lotus Records, she’s earned the right to own and control anything that she creates.
Her mission since conception of the label is to develop and promote exceptional talent to bring their dream to fruition. One such artist, CHERYL and her team landed the #1 position on Billboard charts.
Her first single is a dance song set for release this year entitled “Move Your Sexy Body”.
The music in Move Your Sexy Body will capture you and have you moving parts of your body before you realize you are MOVING YOUR SEXY BODY. The lyrics have an uncomplicated, fun, sexy appeal to listeners. Catering to society’s intrigue of the power of sexuality.
CHERYL recorded this song as an attempt to inspire women of all ages, race, ability, sizes, shapes, to release that sexy, powerful being inside them. She demonstrates the artful expression of MOVING YOUR SEXY BODY in the video.
Ms. Cheryl says there’s nothing more beautiful than a woman who discovers, explores, embraces and maintains her sensual sexuality and having the courage “to be who she is”. Knowing that your only limits, boundaries, or "expiration dates" are those that you set for yourself.
We all love women “in control”. Her lyrics take us there with, “I hope that what I see I like, I may just let you ride my bike”, or “You may just luck up and get me tonight, first you have to show me you can dance, SO DANCE”
Move Your Sexy Body was written and produced by Wirilie Morris,

Chapter entitled: (The Right Place, The Right Time)
Joe Jefferson and I were instructed by Kenny Gamble to go to CBS Records recording company offices first to pickup the artwork for The Three Degrees first album on the PIR recording label. This would be an incredible day to be remembered. Yes, this would be a very exciting, and a very special day for both of us. Joe Jefferson looked at me, and said, “Brucie baby, we are now going to The Big Apple! Ha,” Joe shrieked to himself. And then he chuckled. When Joe had finished his inner celebration, he said, “This is really great Bruce!” Then Kenny interrupted Joe. He was also laughing pleasantly, and smiling with us. Then he said, “It’s a one day trip. You’ll go in the morning. And don’t forget to pick up your Amtrak tickets from Mary Smoatries. She has them for you now in her office.” We both thanked Kenny and he left our office. “Where is CBS Records, in New York City Joe," I asked? He simply replied, “Don't worry about it Bruce. I have been there before. And I will show you personally where we will have to go.” Suddenly, our thoughts and conversation were interrupted as the phone rang. I answered the office phone. “Hello,” I answered. The voice at the other end of the phone-call shouted out my name and said, “Bruce? Bruce! Let me talk to Joe.” It was Charles Simmons.
