REBROADCAST FROM MAY 6,2012 THIS IS A 3HR SHOW INCLUDES JAY KING SLOW JAMES
I got to tell you, I admire Stephanie's spunk. I love her ability to stand for what she believes in and works hard to market her shows here on the JKN. She does not take any gruff or funky stuff. And she will admit when she is wrong, which is rare for a lot of people, male or female. She is a motivated and determined woman, who is out to get the job done, and get the job done she does. You will find no bigger fan for the LAKERS than THE LAKER GURL. I pull for the CLIPPERS when it comes to L.A., but Stephanie won't have it, she is LAKERS all the way, so get ready! 347-205-9366 - Call her up. #WWLG4L #JKN

"I never thought that my hobby of photographing the sun would turn into my 'passion project,' never mind a book,” says photographer/author Kim Weiss about Sunrise, Sunset: 52 Weeks of Awe & Gratitude (HCI Books – Fall 2014 -- ISBN; 9780757318085-- $10.95). "Odd as it is to go from publicist to 'author,' I was moved to share the sense of awe I get to experience every day from my 14th floor terrace.” Her universally loved sunrises (& sunsets) fill the pages, accompanied by the sage words of inspiring people we admire. Each week commentary from people like Candace Bushnell, Lisa Nichols, Jack Canfield, Joan Halifax, Marty Becker, Marci Shimoff and many, many more complement the visual beauty of the sun rising and setting.
Sunrise, Sunset (which happens to fit nicely inside a bag, or perch on a nightstand), is the ultimate gift book for saying "thank you,” sharing a blessing, or offering an oasis for spiritual awakening. From sunrise to sunset this book will be a perennial source of inspiration.
A significant portion of the proceeds from book sales goes to AVDA – an organization dedicated to helping and bringing hope to women who have suffered domestic violence. For more information on this very worthwhile cause, please visit: www.avdaonline.org.
Kim Weiss (Boynton Beach, FL) has been a publicist in the book industry for many years and coaches other writers aspiring to be bestselling authors. Her love of nature and photography began when she was just a little girl

Tonight’s featured artist is Christina Marie Magenta, an American industrial rock band based in Northern VA. Christina has been writing music and modeling since she was a young girl. She went to college in Virginia for business and business law, and at home has studied music and herpetology for many years. Originally she spent years recording an album at a studio in Portland, Oregon; but near the end all files were lost in a flood. She gave up on music for several years until one day she saw her son making music, and decided to start over in a new studio. With powerful motivation, and a new team of musicians, her 1st album Burn was completed in a few short months and was released 2011, followed by Poison in late 2012, Drown in 2015 and 3 remix albums.
