#MyRealTalkRadio Interviews Queen Of The Dancehall: Lady Saw
She is the first female Jamaican artist to win a Grammy, certify as a triple-platinum artist and headline dancehall shows outside her native country. Born Marion Hall in Galina (parish of Saint Mary), she started her career on local sound systems like many artists on the island. As a female artist in a male-dominated world of Jamaican dancehall reggae, Lady Saw defeated all odds when she went on to top the Jamaican charts with “Find a Good Man.” In 1999, she had a major hit in the United States with “Smile,” recorded with Vitamin C, which peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was also a major hit in New Zealand and Canada and made certified gold with over 500,000 sales. In 2002, her collaboration with No Doubt, “Underneath It All” reached number three in the U.S. and sold more than three million copies, reaching triple platinum certification. The track also won a Grammy Award for ‘Best Performance by a Duo or Group.’ Lady Saw released a total of 6 albums on VP Records and then formed her own label called Divas Records. In 2010, she released her first independent album entitled My Way, which was later followed up by the hot single Heels On that reached #1 on all Caribbean charts globally. Saw is known mostly for her daring sexually-explicit lyrics and sassy style, but she is a very versatile artist. Saw’s stage persona as Lady Saw is a distinct contrast to her true self Marion Hall.” When she was younger, Saw sang in her church choir, so it wasn’t far fetch she announced that she would be concentrating on Gospel music in 2012. Now she teams back up with the VP Records via VPAL for distrubution only on her new album Alter Ego, which is available now on iTunes!

Yani Williams is President & Founder of Real Nails Qweenz International
On her journey she has met several inspirational and influential people that have help direct the current path that she is now on. Her intentions were never to grow her nails to extreme lengths however now they are part of her which makes it very hard to trim or cut them. Growing her nails to an extreme length became a passion and she sought out people that were like minded or shared her passion. She saw Lena Cole on various talk shows, but later met Lena through Herb Lasker, whom was a promoter and himself had a nail fetish. He introduced Yani to many of the Record Holders with long toenails as well as fingernails. This opened up a lot of new avenues for Yani in ways of public appearances.
One of the goals that Yani has set for herself is to have a Reality show that would depict how “normal” women that have long nails truly are. There are so many stereotypes and stigmata even discrimination that is associated with women that have extreme length nails and Yani would like to see those barriers broken. To assist with her endeavor she started a The Real Nails Qweenz Iternational group in February 2015. The members are Lena Cole, Nicole Waters, Lateisha Hargett & Edith Graham. Each and every ladies nails are unique in their own way. The ladies in this group are mothers, wives, entrepreneurs, whom all grow nails to extreme lengths. To have a Reality show will open upa new platform that will help to address discrimination and bullying which are topics that Yani has experienced all to well and are very close to her heart. Yani is looking forward to working and establishing her group and making her mark not only in the entertainment field bul also society in how women with long nails a viewed.

REMEMBER: Love isn't LOVE unless you give it away!!!!
A. W. Tozer is the featured speaker on the show this week.
A 20th-century prophet" they called him even in his lifetime. For 31 years he was pastor of Southside Alliance Church in Chicago, where his reputation as a man of God was citywide. Concurrently he became editor of Alliance Life, a responsibility he fulfilled until his death in 1963. His greatest legacy to the Christian world has been his 30 books. Because A.W. Tozer lived in the presence of God he saw clearly and he spoke as a prophet to the church. He sought for God's honor with the zeal of Elijah and mourned with Jeremiah at the apostasy of God's people. But he was not a prophet of despair. His writings are messages of concern. They expose the weaknesses of the church and denounce compromise. They warn and exhort. But they are messages of hope as well, for God is always there, ever faithful to restore and to fulfill His Word to those who hear and obey.-Taken from Sermon Audio
31 At that time, says YAH, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be My people.
2 Thus says the YAH: The people who survived the sword found favor in the wilderness [place of exile]—when Israel sought to find rest.
3 YAH appeared from of old to me [Israel], saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.
4 Again I will build you and you will be built, O Virgin Israel! You will again be adorned with your timbrels [small one-headed drums] and go forth in the dancing [chorus] of those who make merry.
5 Again you shall plant vineyards upon the mountains of Samaria; the planters shall plant and make the fruit common and enjoy it [undisturbed].
6 For there shall be a day when the watchmen on the hills of Ephraim shall cry out, Arise, and let us go up to Zion, to YAH our God.
7 For thus says YAH: Sing aloud with gladness for Jacob, and shout for the head of the nations [on account of the chosen people, Israel]. Proclaim, praise, and say, YAH has saved His people, the remnant of Israel!
8 Behold, I will bring them from the North country and gather them from the uttermost parts of the earth, and among them will be the blind and the lame, the woman with child and she who labors in childbirth together; a great company, they will return here to Jerusalem.
