Laforest Bell, born in Detroit, MI. was raised by a single mother. He has always loved music and began playing his first instrument, which was a trumpet, in second grade. He began rapping at age 12 after he won the talent contest at a family reunion. At this same ripe age he and his mother moved to Central Florida where he quickly picked up the southern slag and incorporated it in his raps. His first mixtape LBOSWORLD dropped in 2000 and he continued to develop his skills & featured Trick Daddy from Mami, FL on “Blinded by the Light”. His motivation are his cubs (kids), which keep him on his toes, focused on making their lives better. His style is unique with a southern sound and northern delivery that will catch your full attention. His personal motto is “Don’t grind don’t shine.” His short term goals are to establish the L-bo brand and get his music heard globally. While his long term goals include but are not limited to owning & operating a successful corporation.

It's October of 1993 in Hawaii. A drunk driver hurtles toward a bend in the road. From the opposite direction, accomplished advertising creative and triathlete Phil Slott takes a routine drive. As he eases into the bend, he meets the drunk driver skidding into the wrong lane and, in one second, Phil's life takes a dramatic turn. As he struggles to stay alive in the ICU, Phil's organs, bones, and much of his brain are broken. What he and everyone else come to realize is that his creative drive and passion remain intact. And these abilities serve as the foundation for his arduous yet inspiring road to recovery. This is more than his story. Written in collaboration with his wife, Mary Spears, Damage Control: A Brain Injury Survivor Helps You Beat the Odds, is a tough-love conversation and guide for those who have survived a traumatic brain injury (TBI). It is intended to help other survivors regain hope and quality of life. Available on AMAZON more info: http:// www.philslott.com. Welcome to another episode the Brain Injury Round Table. Los Angelinos just survived another round of Oscars here in Holllywood. Same traffic on the streets. Same bad jokes on the air. But there was something different on the red carpet.
Diane Gordon from Forbes.com TV Tweeted it best "for the record: I love seeing #Oscars fashion & I support #AskHerMore - there's room for both on the red carpet."
To continue our morning #MommyMonday Twitter Talk about the Oscars & being moms, we turn to another Mom In Media for expert advice on balancing it all (on a pilates ball maybe?) work, health, motherhood, & feeling our best.
Jeanine Detz, former Deputy Editor SHAPE Magazine, joins the show to share tips for better living through healthy choices & some juggling. What goes on before stars step on the red carpet or in front of the camera for a cover shoot? How do celebs "bounce back" so fast after baby ie. Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Hudson, J-Lo? And, is it possible for us regular moms to do the same?
Hear insider tips & find out what you can do to dazzle daily by making changes for a beautiful you, inside & out.

After retiring from a career in theatre and film, Celina found herself in the studio writing music. Fast forward two years, Celina picked up a crochet hook, some yarn and turned that extra energy to relearning to crochet. After following the second pattern, she turned her love for math and construction into a small business. You can see her designs at Simply Collectible where fiber meets practicality with a sprinkle of edginess.

Born and raised in Chicago's south side Johnny Louis aka "Fella Soul" grew up in the mean streets, was a high ranking member of the Vice Lords (a Chicago street gang) and was on a fast track to nowhere until he heard the voice of God. "I was on my way to committing another illegal act when God’s voice stopped me in my tracks and told me to pray,” explains Fella Soul. That was nearly 5 years ago and since that time Fella Soul has been receiving nothing but blessings. "I don't call it a blessing because I'm doing what I love,” he proclaims. “The blessing is in recognizing that God loves me all the time." "Testimony" is the first single from the movie soundtrack for the new film American Badboy, which stars Katt Williams. Fella Soul makes his acting debut with a cameo role in the movie where he performs his new song, “Testimony.”
Fella Soul has 4 songs featured on the soundtrack and is working on his first full length project as well as preparing to tour churches, youth groups and do live performance dates throughout the U.S. "I'm excited about the future, I want to bring my Testimony to as many people as I can, I want to touch hearts, change lives and make a difference in the world and for humanity.”
