On the show today, there's more fallout from the daily fantasy debate, including an incredible take from HBO's John Oliver and a Jay Cutler kneeldown costing a FanDuel player $20,000. We get your lineups set for Week 11 in fantasy football. With no Odell Beckham Jr. available this week, what wide receiver should you rely on? Plus, daily fantasy stacks and matchups to watch will be discussed.
We also take a look into baseball's offseason awards. Did the BBWAA get them right? We also make a case for the MVP's of each league.
Follow @theshowdannyp for more fantasy football advice and overall shenanigans!
The Chicago Cubs did not make the World Series, but they have been reeling in the MLB awards. Joe Maddon was named NL manager of the year. Mike Matheny finished second in the voting 37 points behind Maddon. Terry Collins, who led the New York Mets to the World Series, finished third. First year manager Jeff Bannister was named AL manager of the year. A.J. Hinch, who rejuvinated the Houston Astros franchise finised second. Minnesota Twins manager Paul Molitor rounded out the top three.
Unanimously, Kris Bryant won the NL rookie of the year award. Bryant became the 11th player in MLB history to win the award by unanimous decision. Matt Duffy of the San Francisco Giants finished second, while Pittsburgh Pirates Jung Ho Kang finished third. In a much closer race, Carlos Correa edged out Francisco Lindor for the AL rookie of the year.
The most interesting race was for the NL Cy Young award. Jake Arrieta edged out Zack Greinke by receiving 17 of the 30 first place votes. Greinke received 10 and Clayton Kershaw had three votes. Dallas Keuchel had a hold on the AL Cy Young most of the year and received 22 of the 30 first place votes. David Price finished second in the voting, 43 points behind Keuchel. No other AL pitcher received a first place vote.
Kris Bryant is your NL Rookie of the Year. Joe Maddon is your NL Manager of the Year. And your NL Cy Young Award winner? Jake Arrieta. The Chicago Cubs have swept through this week's MLB awards. So let's look at just how deserving these winners are, and what this can do for the team moving forward.
The Bulls and Blackhawks both begin road trips tonight, with the Hawks taking on the Oilers and Bulls battling the Suns in Phoenix. Derrick Rose is hurt again, and the Hawks have been dreadful on the road this season. Can either team pull off a winning road trip?

The Big Jack and Dan the Man host the Wednesday edition of Sports Time Radio. Major League Baseball has been handing out awards all week and tonight they'll choose the Cy Young award winners. Kris Bryant and carlos Correa where named Rookie of the Year winners on Monday. Yesterday Joe Maddon and Jeff Bannister where named Manager of the Year. So it's the Cy Young tonight and the M.V.P. tomorrow. The Chicago Cubs have a chance to take three out of four of these awards. They can't win M.V.P. as they don't have anyone nominated. Did they get the first two awards right? and who do you have winning the second two.
