    Bulls Rough Stretch, Rose Speaks, Bears Free Agency Begins

    in Sports

    The Bulls fell back to earth after a strong victory over the Thunder on Thursday night, losing their next three games.  The stretch of 4 games in 5 days showed just how short-handed this Bulls team is without 3 of their best players healthy.  But E'Twaun Moore, Nikola Mirotic and Tony Snell continue to shine.  Off the court, Derrick Rose spoke to the media yesterday for the first time since undergoing his 3rd knee surgery. He made no guarantees, but sounded optimistic about returning this season.  Meanwhile, the Bears have been busy the last few days. Brandon Marshall is gone, Jay Cutler is not, and the Bears started their free agency process with a big signing.  Other players are in the rumor mill. What's your take on the Bulls 3 game losing streak and Rose's words to the media? How do you feel about Marshall leaving and Cutler staying? Who do you want the Bears to sign in free agency? Phone lines open for you! (347) 327-9183. BECAUSE CHICAGO LOVES SPORTS.

    Writestream Tuesday: Shatter the Narrative

    in Writing

    Are you a creative person/writer/reader who loves liberty? Are you tired of the false, pervasive narratives used in pop culture and the media to constantly deride, mock, and repudiate the United States and patriotic Americans?

    If you've had it with this nonsense, we invited you to listen to our special "Shatter the Narrative" show on Tuesday, November 18 with talented, patriotic authors Sarah Hoyt, Marina Fontaine, Tom Knighton, Declan Finn, and Daniella Bova. Moderated by Writestream founder Dariaanne, the panel will gleefully shatter the following narratives:

    The myth of the American suburbs as soulless, horrible places to live;
    The myth of European intellectual and cultural superiority over Americans;
    The myth of constitutional conservatives as dour, humorless people;
    The glamorization of mass murdering revolutionaries like Che Guevara and the romanticizing of brutal political ideologies like communism.

    During the live show, we invite you to call in with your comments at (347) 945-7246. After the panel, be sure to stay tuned for the Right Wing Riot with the Luminaries of Liberty: Ms. Always Right, Scary Smart, and The Prince of Whitebread!

    Knighton Warbeck was born with a debilitating stuttering affliction. He tried everything to cure it and nothing worked. Finally, he surrendered and accepted that he would never be stutter-free. And then an amazing thing happened. He woke up one day with no stutter! How did it happen? It remained a mystery and then he discovered the KDUB method. Simply imagine the worst thing that can happen in any challenging situation you encounter. Once you accept the worst, you're able to move on and succeed. Try it, I've been doing it for years.
