After high school, Hutchence went to Perth with the band and played in some clubs there without a lot of success. They returned to Sydney and renamed themselves INXS. Landing a recording contract, the group released its first self-titled album in 1980. Greetings citizens! Yes, we're aware that we just had a "mixtape" (Comic Shoppe+Afronerd Radio) broadcast last week, but due to more attention being raised concerning Dr. Bill Cosby, we must address that controversy in addition to current pulp/pop cultural issues. AGAIN, welcome to this week's Grindhouse show, courtesy of Afronerd Radio airing this Saturday at 6pm (EST). Join Daryll B., Capt. Kirk and Dburt as they wax about the following topics: the crew weighs in on the Cosby scandal as more women come forward in addition to the now viral footage of noted poet/educator, Nikki Giovanni critiquing the fallen comedian back in '07; another controversy dubbed "Shirtgate" brews over British physicist. Matt Taylor's fashion choices as he successfully landed a probe on a moving comet; a recent study found in Social Psychological and Personality Science posits that many Whites perceive Blacks to possess superhuman, if not mystical abilities (huh?); our thoughts on what movies/TV shows should have been comics and vice versa; Universal Pictures purports to create a shared Horror Universe (a la Marvel) with less emphasis on "horror" and more action; with the onset of a successful Gotham TV series, can a Superman/Smallville prequel (Krypton) have the same mojo? and lastly, we give our general impressions of the fall sci-fi/fantasy/comic TV season thus far. Call live at 646-915-9620.

Kirk Cameron brought us the best seller, "Left Behind" series of movies dealing with the rapture of believers who are filled with the Holy Spirit and have a personal relationship with our Messiah, Jesus Christ...called Yahushua Hamaschiach.
We will discuss the movie and what the bible actually says about Christmas...that is what God the Father told the prophets to tell the people about the Chistmas tree. Yes...the Christmas tree is in the Holy Bible...and it ain't good.
Join us as we unravel the debate and pray for Kirk & his family who we believe are just blinded by the world we live in which Christ warned us to live separaely from. The truth is often painful and a burden. You can experience the truth which will set you free... or stay comfortable in the man-made holidays of our forefathers until the end. Time to wake-up from the land of forgetfulness and remember our first love and His laws... made to protect us from getting hit by a car when we cross the street to the other side of our mortality on earth!
Tyrone Benjamin, (born 26th May 1987 in Brooklyn, NY) is a Gospel Jazz artist. He began playing the soprano and alto saxophone, at the age of 14. He was introduced to the saxophone during his high school years. Although Tyrone didn’t like playing at first, it was mandatory that he learned to play it. Tyrone was saved at the age of 18, and upon his high school graduation, he began opening up to God and dedicating his life to worshiping God through his instrument. He’s been inspired by the works of Kirk Whalum and John Coltrane.
Tyrone gained a passion to play music, through taking his relationship with God, seriously. In playing the saxophone, he enters into another dimension of worship, one in which his pure sounds and prophetic flow, are truly a blessing to the people of God. Out of the love that he has for God, and his passion for music, Tyrone hopes that through his playing, there will be an exchange that will impact someone’s life, giving them peace of mind, hope, and freedom, from the strongholds that are weighing them down.
The Lord has graciously allowed his music ministry to grow. Tyrone has played for various artists throughout the U.S. and abroad, particularly in Antigua. He has become a sought after musician in the tri-state area. He aims one day to become a recording artist; showing his ministry to people worldwide.
Tyrone is truly a man after God’s own heart. His humble, kind, caring and personable spirit, are surely a display of the love and grace of God has given him. In the words of Tyrone, “Words alone can’t express the love I have for God, the way I can express it through the saxophone!” For booking and more information, email: email@example.com and/or visit Sax Impact Music at: https://www.facebook.com/saximpact.
