Hello Everyone! My name is Michelle Cornwell Jordan and I am one of your hosts. My co-host Jamie White is also joining me and we're excited to chat with Mystery/Suspense Author Tegon Maus as part of his Premier Virtual Author book tour!
Tegin Maus:My wife of forty five plus years and I live in a little town of 8,200 in Southern California. In that time, I've built a successful remodeling /contracting business. But that's just my day job... everyone that writes... everyone who tells you how to write, all say the same thing.... write about what you know... and what I know... is me.
Well, at least the me I see when I write... an alter ego of myself that gets frequently wedged between a rock and a hard place but manages to work things out at the last minute after all. A day time encounter, whether good or bad becomes the obstacle or the triumph for my alter ego's romp that night. Like most of us when pushed into a corner it only brings out the best in us and we become the unstoppable force of a reluctant hero... at least on paper, making the day to day a little more tolerable. If I have a signature style for creating a character then this is it.
This week on the FabLife Radio Show we're bringing you top business, entertainment and lifestyle news along with information that you don't get to hear anywhere else. This week we'll recap the Billboard Music Awards and during Grown Folks Conversation we're talking plastic surgery. With so many people striving to be the next big star, more and more younger people (under 30) are getting work done. Is this because of the pressures that come with success? Are younger people too lazy and impatient to exercise? OR is there a serious lack of self esteem in our society that makes us strive for unrealistic physical perfection?
Mista Ecks will have the business and money news you can use in "Strictly Business" and we'll have the latest in entertainment a and lifestyle news in and around Metro Detroit.
Tune in to the live show using any smart phone or computer. You can also call in and listen or comment at 773-897-6501.
