Dr. Cathy Reimers Ph.D., psychologist in New Jersey, and cohost Jennifer Russello, discuss whether cell phones are a luxurious hazard or a necessary evil for kids. All parents want to be able to contact their kids at any time and cell phones seem like the obvious solution, but beware.... according to the Cyber-bullying Research Center (CRC), 25 percent of kids have been harassed or bullied via calls or texts on cell phones. About half of the children who are cyber-bullied don't even tell their parents. 60 percent of kids have sent texts during classroom hours. 15 percent of kids have received text messages that are sexual in nature (sexting) from someone they know. Kids can easily misuse cell phones, they can even become inadvertent cyber-bullies or victims of dangerous cyber-bullying activity. On the other hand, a cell phone is an excellent way to stay in touch with your child. Listen in and join us to explore just one startling inconvenience of the current generation of "convenience".

Most of us are familiar with being told to ‘turn off and stow away all portable electronic devices’ for take-off and landing. But that’s changing now – for better or for worse. Recently, the FAA lifted their ban on electronic devices, meaning that flyers could – potentially – use their gadgets from gate to gate. In this month’s episode of Mobile Insights Radio with Steve Power Brown, Steve is joined by active airline pilot, air travel blogger and author Patrick Smith, and etiquette expert and former flight attendant Jacqueline Whitmore to discuss the pros and cons of the rule change that have greatly polarized the public and airline passengers.
Join Kevin & Karen as they interview local father/daughter atheists Mark & Bethany Cunningham on what were the challenges on raising kids and growing up with a secular world view in England and in Canada.

Shyanne came into the media spotlight after she testified in Trenton opposing a bill that would limit magazines to 10 rounds.

Graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelors in Construction Management. I was a student athlete with a busy schedule, practicing twice a day, working and competing on weekends and my studies in between. Beyond college, I continued as a track and field athlete traveling to various countries to compete for about 2 years. My construction career started with Habitat for Humanity a non-profit organization that built and sold homes in underdeveloped areas. Currently, I am in the telecommunications as a Project Specialist for SBA Communications, a cell tower developer.
