A Changing World--Live With The Rayfords

    in Lifestyle

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Truth for a lot of reasons--educational racism, corrupt politicians, and superiority of a group of people--the majority over minorities.

From Jim Crow laws and Brown v. Board of Education--into the 21st Century--with all the laws and policy changes regarding equality for all--there is yet to be found equality for any --who were born into situations in which they have no control.

In Michigan, Republican lawmakers have proven once again that racism is alive and well with their passage of a bill that on the surface, appears to be aid, but in actuality is the final step in demolishing a school district simply because the students are poor and minority and cannot fight back.

They have deliberately ignored the need and promoted the greed of corrupt and inexcusable behavior by those in control who have caused more damage to the educational system than any one group of people ever could and yet blame the one group--the teachers who fight for the kids--for all the ills of education in Detroit. Will there ever be a political party in control who cares about all children and their education?

Prayer changes things, but only when people know God and allow Him to change their hearts. We're praying for a Senate vote by people who have a heart for God.

If you'd like to escape the foolishness of politicians and focus on God's Word, here's the link http://viewAuthor.at/maryglobal

We pray you have enjoyed the podcast and will join us again next week. Until then, remember God loves you and we do, too!
