Timeless Message: A Tribute to Khalil Gibran
If you ask a group of poets what is the main goal they wish to accomplish through their
writing, the majority will say the same...to be heard. Khalil Gibran’s poetry has been
translated in over 40 languages and his book, The Prophet has never been out of print
since its first publication in 1923. His messages are timeless and still relevant to readers
today. What other artists do you feel have a message, music, or mission will continue to
live on well beyond their years?

Maybe you've been taught that work = drudgery. That WORK is a 4-letter, foul word. If so, you're probably wondering how it can be considered a spiritual practice too... that is unless you join a religious order or get a job in a place of worship or meditation. Ah, but even monks have to work to keep things running. Join Angela in this episode to find out how to shift your perspective and consciously integrate your career or job into your spiritual practice.

Dr. Wells returns to his secret room, where it is revealed that he has been documenting Barry's growing abilities, and using his computer to look at events in the future. Barry arrives at a crime scene where the victim was murdered via electrocution, and charred beyond all recognition, suggesting a metahuman was involved. While investigating the victims identity, the team identifies a power drain in the city. When Barry arrives, he is attacked by Farooq Gibran, a man who has the ability to siphon electrical energy. The attack drains Barry of his speed, and when Wells checks his secret computer it reveals that there are no references to Barry or "The Flash" in the future, and thus the timeline is in danger of temporal paradox. Wells believes that Barry's body just needs an electrical jumpstart, and Farooq arrives at the lab while the team is attempting to help Barry.

"As in the case of the mass execution of the Chinese males, Japanese soldiers invented raping games and contest. Brothers were forced to rape their sisters and sons were forced to rape their mothers. Fathers were forced to rape their daughters. Anyone refusing to participate would be executed on the spot. Young female virgins were especially prized by the Japanese. As in the case of the eating of penises, many Japanese soldiers actually cut out the vaginas of young girls and fashioned keepsakes made out of the victims pubic hair." /
