Clinical Psychologist and author Dr. E. Douglass Brown will be our special guest speaker today, on this re-broadcast show, talking about bringing out the Bliss Point in our Children part 2. The makings of the spiritual bliss point are deeply embedded in each infant. Whether the makings of the spiritual bliss point become an actualized experience depends on the person, once an infant, learning the difference between his or her true self and “somebody” that he or she has come to believe is “me.” Wise parents encourage a child to ask the right questions and to seek and accept the right answers. Unwise parents encourage a child to only ask questions when given permission from others and to accept answers endorsed by them and others. Wise parenting models and guides towards the bliss point. Unwise parenting models and guides towards the "miss" point.
On this episode we will review the year that was 2014. Athletes & domestic violence, Bill Cosby, Depression & Robin Williams, Democrats losing the midterms are just a few of the stories that have grabbed the headlines. There's also the secret service failings, Ebola, Boko Haram and the dissapearance of of Malaysian Airline 370.
The biggest stories though have surrounded race and the police. Eric Garner, Mike Brown, Tamir Rice, Bob McColluch are all names that will go down in history as the catalysts for much unrest in 2014. We'll explore all of this with the crew of #LFCRadio along with our Guest Dr. Tommy Curry.

What a year it has been on Black By Color Only. It has been a great year and we are looking forward to better things in 2015, exposing the lies and sharing the truth about what's going on in the world of race, politics, religion, etc. Maybe you can share how this show has informed you or just plain made you angry! I may even share some recent topics that have made the news lately. Hopefully, you can make it to the next broadcast. See you there!
What are we to focus on in the Last Days?
Traditional Jewish Bible Readings:
Torah: Genesis 41:1-44:17
Haftorah: Zechariah 2:10-4:7
Apostolic Scriptures: Luke 4:16-30
Last week we called on friends to include 2.1 billion Christians to touch and agree that Black Lives Matter. From our 2014 Christmas narrative we learned that lynching was a widely acknowledged practice in the United States until the middle of the 20th century. The U.S. Senate resolved to apologize for its own failure to enact anti-lynching legislation. As Ebenezer Scrooge might observe, that should be behind us as our ghost of Christmas past.
For demonstrators taking to the streets protesting, proclaiming and declaring equal justice, it’s a new season! The injustice is called by another name, but the results are still the same. The numbers add up to an increase in dead folk and an ever-widening Gulf of Mistrust.
The President’s assessment of events on the streets and in the courtroom accurately portrait the problem America faces this week of Christmas present. You can ask any of 2.1 billion Christians on earth about the jacked up arrest, trials and lynching of Jesus the Christ 2000 years ago, to get your sense of what needs to be done.
In Christmas present, WE THE PEOPLE will need to realize WE ARE THE WORLD. Our friends are watching, hoping for a brighter day. So, let’s start living like Christmas future is a goal worth sharing by coming together to bridge what the president has termed, a Gulf of Mistrust.

16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him
The reverberations from the Richmond County Grand Jury’s decision not to indict Daniel Pantaleo, of the NYPD, continue to be felt.
While protests on behalf of Eric Garner and Michael Brown, have been largely peaceful, if not very inconveniencing for New Yorkers, there have been sporadic instances of violence,
During a protest on the Brooklyn Bridge last Saturday, two men, both white, one a college professor, allegedly triggered a melee and assaulted police.
In the meantime, the events and reactions from that fateful day has caused tension between Mayor DiBlasio and the head of the Patrolman’s Benevolent Association, Patrick Lynch, who has accused the mayor of making remarks that are disrespectful of the police.
In fact, some of the NYPD have supported a pledge to disinvite the Mayor to their funerals.
On the international front, Barack Obama has decided to establish diplomatic and economic relations with Cuba, citing that the embargo, in place since 1961, has “not worked”.
Again, as expected, the reactions vary, with intense criticism from Sens. Marco Rubio Robert Menendez, both of whom are of Cuban heritage.
On the other hand, Jimmy Carter praised Obama’s “political courage”. Perhaps he sees this as a sort of redemption from the Mariel Boatlift?
I wonder out loud, what this means for black people economically, with an anticipated influx of Cubans to this country, just 90 miles away.
For those old enough to remember, this conjures memories of the Bay of Pigs (1961) and Cuban Missile Crisis (1962).
By the WAY, Obama says that black people are “better off” (HE said it, NOT me!)
So be prepared to discuss these pointed issues on the Critical Discourse University of the Blogosphere.
A case we are following very closely is that of Barrett Brown. He has been jailed for over two years, having been raided and arrested while on TinyChat. His charges are basically bs. the hyperbolic YouTube rant that led to his arrest, was that of an angry citizen, at his wits end, lashing out at his oppressor, and has unfortunately been taken way too seriously. after accepting a plea deal earlier this year, with a maximum of 8 1/2 years, he was due to be sentenced this week. This was much less than the over 100 years prosecutors were pushing for.
