The Kentucky Derby is not only the most prestigious race in the world but also one of the more challenging for its competitiors. Three-year-olds going farther than they ever have (1 1/4 miles) in front of more people in a race that everyone wants to win has a way of taking a special kind of horse to perform well. The Thomas Herding Technique helps identify which horses are up to the task (and just as important to Brisnet.com & TwinSpires.com players, which aren't). Founded by Kerry Thomas and supported by Pete Denk, THT has helped identify recent Kentucky Derby winners Animal Kingdom, I'll Have Another, and Orb while also pointing to last year's winner, California Chrome, as a key contender (THT's top pick, Danza, finished third). THT is also a full-service bloodstock agency. Visit its site to learn more about its services & read former Derby analysis.
Our regular show this week has a full preview of the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 rounds of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. We'll look at a most intriguing matchup between UCLA and Gonzaga and see who's defense can lock down the other. Notre Dame takes on Wichita State with a chance to advance to the Elite 8, and Kentucky continues its perfect season against West Virginia. Utah takes their uneven regular season and puts it on the line against #1 Duke and highly touted Jahlil Okafor, and Michigan State tries to work more Izzo Magic against Oklahoma. Arizona continues its bid to exorcise past tournament demons on a potential path to a rematch with #1 Wisconsin. Will North Carolina's streaky team keep Wisconsin from this dream rematch. Dave, Tom in NJ, and possible others will offer our predictions for the Sweet 16! Kevin on the Cape also joins Dave in Hour 1 to recap the previous weekend's NCAA action and take your Random Questions via tweet or phone. March Madness continues here in the City.
On Thursday night, before the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament begins, Mike will discuss the Thursday/Friday match-ups, along with potential Elite Eight meetings in each region.
-Can Kentucky get past "Press" Virginia?
-Can Notre Dame get Mike Brey to his first Elite Eight appearance?
-Are we going to see Arizona/Wisconsin II?
-Is N.C. State on their way to a Jimmy V in 1983-type run to the Final Four?
We'll discuss this, Mike's horrendous first weekend for his bracket and a whole lot more on the 10th episode of Mike on the Mic. Tune in!

Dean Roberts - I was born in 1939 got kicked out of school at age 16 Was given an early discharge for the Navy in 20 got married at 22 and had two children within three years. Some time in my late 20s I started to read and study Marcus Aurelius book meditations and think and grow Rich by Napoleon hill When my parents retired from the family steel rule die business in 1976 we were doing around $100,000 a year in sales. By 1981 my company had become the largest manufacturer of diecut dollhouse kits in the world we were doing about $4 billion in sales with over 40 employees. I had the good fortune to attract some really great people that took full responsibility for all the day-to-day operations. This enabled me to travel study meditate exercise and play way too much tournament poker. So now in the final stage of my life I would like to share with younger people some of the useful things that I've learned over the years. My daughter son and grandson are operating the business today it's Greenleafdollhouses.com
