Mindy Hall, PhD, is the author of Leading with Intention: Every Moment is a Choice. A great book, one of my favorites, one I'll keep close at hand. She is the President and CEO of Peak Development Consulting, LLC. Since founding the company 1996, she has worked with clients throughout North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia to create sustainable organization and leadership development solutions: helping leaders create solutions for today’s challenges, while also growing their capacity to lead future initiatives from within. Clients include leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, technology, insurance, manufacturing, government, and nonprofit organizations, several of which are among the Fortune 50.
She began her career as the director of a nonprofit, 24-hour crisis center and has always been surprised how transferable the skills were from crisis center to corporate work.
On her website at Peak Development, LLC she promises Honest Advice. Practical Solutions. Real Results. I believe her. Empathy strengthens as we grow in our careers while remembering our humble beginnings. Empathy is a key trait for all successful leaders.
Come listen as we talk about Leading with Intention, making good choices in every moment, and crisis centers and corporate cultures share much in common these days. I'm thinking that if you follow her advice, lead with intention, some of company's daily fire drills can be eliminated while you grow in revenues and profits.

AN AMERICAN CONSERVATIVE'S EXPLORATION OF THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD
HOSTED BY KENNETH MCCLENTON
Psalm 100:1-5 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
EVERY FRIDAY MORNING, WE WILL EXPLORE THE POWER AND GLORY OF THE WORD OF GOD. WE SHALL WORSHIP HIM IN THE BEAUTY OF HOLINESS AND EXPLORE THE DEEP EXPRESSIONS OF GOD'S PROMISES TO US AND OUR INHERITANCE.
WE SHALL PRAY BY THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD. WE SHALL GIVE GOD REVERENCE, RESPECT AND ADORATION. MORE IMPORTANTLY, WE SHALL COME TO KNOW HIM BETTER AND BETTER AS OUR PERSONAL SAVIOR, OUR ROCK AND REDEEMER.
Birmingham, Alabama - the Magic City - saw events and courageous people who played a central role in the Civil Rights struggle. World Footprints goes on a walking tour through history along the Civil Rights Heritage Trail as we step onto the grounds where African Americans confronted Jim Crow era voilence with non-voilent civil disobedience. We will also explore Kelly Ingram Park and Birmingham's 4th Avenue Business District and discuss the time when segregation made this the city's "Little Harlem".
Brimingham is also known for it's rich musicial traditions and we'll pay homage to two iconic musical figures: Henry "Gip" Gipson whose 'juke joint' is the last standing music venue of it's kind in Alabama. Gip's Place has welcomed musicians from all over the world and every Saturday music lovers travel miles for an all-night music tailgate party on a "Sanford and Son" style lot. We will also introduce Dr. Frank Adams, Sr., a charter member of the Alabama Hall of Fame, who regaled us with stories of his life, a musical set and his time playing with greats like Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington. Sadly, Doc Adams passed away only one month after our meeting with him. We are honored to showcase his music throughout today's show.
As a side note, our trip to Birmingham was a very pleasant surprise. We highly recommend a visit to Birmingham, Alabama. There's a lot waiting for visitors to discover in the city "where freedom lives".
Janol "Mecca" Holmes sits down with International film Maker "Reda Zine" to discuss his new documentary "The Long Road to the Hall of Fame" which features former Athlete/Actor - Malik Farrakhan. Singer Olara Ode' also joins us, as she is featured on the Soundtrack ("The Long Road").
Natalie Gelman was a street performing NYC troubadour who won over hearts across the country with her music, soulful voice and dynamic songwriting. She literally moved up from the subway to Carnegie Hall and many venues in between. And along the way she found herself in national publications like the NY Times and Billboard Magazine because of it. Often compared to Sheryl Crow, Joni Mitchell and Jewel, Natalie is an artist in her own right - called “Simply Terrific” by the NY Post and named the “poster girl for the solo, storytelling singer/songwriter” by Music Connection Magazine. Best of all, she joins us on Music FridayLive! this Friday.
Alex Nester brings back the art of real, live un-moduilated music-making with hot blues that makes you shake and shimmy and cool vocals that do a slow burn in your ears. A bout with cancer as a teen has helped shape her unique sound filled with messages of love, faith, positivity, and healing while channeling the retro soul artists of the 60’s and 70’s. Her resume already includes 12 albums, countless jingles, and over 25 theatrical productions, as well as working with established musicians such as Carlos Santana, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, The Fifth Dimension, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Desi Arnaz, Jr., Alphonse Mouzon, Brandon Fields, and Eric Marienthal.. Plays hard and late and she joins us Friday.
