I am so excited to talk with Kelly Bulkeley co-author of Children’s Dreams: Understanding the Most Memorable Dreams and Nightmares of Childhood. When a child talks about a vivid nighttime dream, it can be difficult for adults to know how to respond. The book introduces readers to the basic psychology and neuroscience of dreaming, then explores dreams from early childhood through adolescence. Kelly Bulkeley, Ph.D., is a Visiting Scholar at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. He earned a doctorate in Religion and Psychological Studies from the University of Chicago Divinity School, an M.T.S. from Harvard Divinity School, and a B.A. from Stanford University. A former President of the International Association for the Study of Dreams and a Senior Editor of the APA journal Dreaming, he has written and edited 17 books on dream research. His books include Children’s Dreams (co-authored with his mother Patricia M. Bulkley) (2012), Dreaming in the World’s Religions: A Comparative History (2008), and An Introduction to the Psychology of Dreaming (1997). He is the director of the Sleep and Dream Database (http://sleepanddreamdatabase.org), a digital archive and search engine designed to promote scientific dream research.
Ever wondered what your children’s dreams really means? Current scientific research shows that children's brains are hard-wired to generate intensely creative dreams. Dr. Kelly Bulkeley’s latest book, Children’s Dreams, shows parents, teachers, and therapists how to analyze and interpret these kinds of dreams in a way that reveals their deep roots in the spiritual wisdom of a child's developing imagination.
Join Dr. Bulkeley and me on Tuesday, June 11, 10-11 A.M. US., to learn the simple and easily applied method of analyzing your children’s dreams.

Bards Logic discusses Eric Holder's resignation. His tenure as Attorney General was rife with scandals. Fast and Furious, Discriminatory Hiring Practices, Fort Hood, AP Surveillance, his pardons, the DOJ's threatening of Free Speech, his stances on immigration and the second amendment, his weakness on Islamic terrorits and treatment of terrorists as Criminal Defendants Instead of Enemy Combatants, and much more. How likely will Al Sharpton's input affect Obama's decsion on who replaces Holder? Will Holder's resignation do anything to hurt Hillary Clinton's chances of a Democratic nomination for 2016?

Imagine this: you’re a Grammy-nominated singer, considered one of the best vocalists of your generation, who has scored major R&B hits and been invited to collaborate with the likes of Kanye West and R. Kelly, yet some folks consider you “underrated.” This has been the plight of Syleena Johnson, acclaimed as one of the finest R&B voices to have emerged during the past decade. Having fought the major label system to allow her true identity to shine forth, Syleena now steps forward with her most personal statement to date. Her boundary-stretching fifth album, entitled, appropriately enough, Chapter V: Underrated, was released on September 27, 2011 on Shanachie Entertainment.
Syleena Johnson grew up outside Chicago in Illinois. Though she got involved with music during her high school years, initially she was discouraged from getting into the music business by her father, who had many disappointing experiences in the industry. Meanwhile her mother become the nation’s first black female police commissioner.
After her live acoustic album release performance of Chapter V: Underrated last year, Syleena was moved by her own music and decided to release the live performance as a mini-album titled Acoustic Soul Sessions, released September 25th, 2012. The mini-album includes five songs from Chapter V: Underrated; an introduction to Chapter 6: Couples Therapy which will be released on October 28th, 2014. The Powerful New Recording on the way will take us back to Syleena’s traditional R&B style. The first single, “Perfectly Worthless”, from the hit new album is now available. Syleena also adds television to her roster as a costar in the TV One hit reality series R&B Divas airing Wednesday nights at 10/9c.
Jim "Chet" Chesko has the night off so Steve Cwitkowitz and Frank Kolachny will join Bill Furman as they break down the Eagles loss to the 49'ers. From Chip Kelly to Nick Foles, to Shady McCoy to the banged up O-line to the defense and special teamsl. They'll be talking the bounce back game against the Rams as well as the Cowboys and Giants bouncing back in the NFC East. They will even take a few quick swipes at the Phillies. We can't forget the Flyers open 1 week from tonight!!!! We will cover it all!! Our show is brought to you by www.shopforkisses.org the on-line shopping network of the Kisses for Kyle Foundtion.
In 1999, Ontario Country artist Shelley Buffitt released her debut album My First Love. The acclaimed album received airplay world-wide and garnered Shelley the 1999 Nashville Tracker Magazine "Female Vocalist of the Year" (European market). Shelley was nominated at the OCMAs for Female Vocalist of the Year, as well as Album of the Year in 1999.
Riding on the success of her debut album, Executive Producers at Five Star Productions decided to release Bad Side of Town in 2000. This was a wise move as that year The Ontario Country Music Association recognized Shelley's contribution to the Canadian music scene by nominating her for Female Vocalist of the Year, Rising Star and Duet of the Year (with the multi-talented songstress, Kelly Vohnn.) The album features the musicianship of Wendell Ferguson. This same year, TVOntario filmed a documentary about Shelley and her music on their show Studio 1 with Steve Paikin.
In July 2014, Daddy’s Little Girl - a song from Shelley's album Beyond This Woman - was released to Canadian Country radio.
