    Lisa Hooks is a singer/songwriter whose passion is to sing and write. Hailing all the way from her hometown Compton, California Lisa Hooks started singing at age 2, and has been involved professionally in this music industry since age 17. She understands what hard-work, dedication and loyalty takes. Her lyrics has been said to bring true emotion out of the listener reminding them of something they've been through. She loves listening to the likes of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Mary J Blige, but is often compared vocally to Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Keisha Cole. Her music comes from her love for rhythmic bass, drums, guitars, and piano & strings. Lisa Hooks is currently mixing a few singles with intent on a developing a fan-base and eventually releasing an album. She is the CEO of her Got Hooks Entertainment company and seeks to build that company by her own team's work. Eventually, seeking a major distribution deal and or record deal. She will be recording a few new hits and consistently writes as new ideas surface. Her writing goes hand in hand with her as a person she is loyal, a good person, and true to herself. No one knows her as she does, she loves whom she loves and is genuine with those around her

    Kiesha has been a construction project manager of 17 plus years experience with extensive operational knowledge including financial management, schedule and material/labor resource management and team collaboration. I have worked for large to small general contractors as well as a small consulting firm.

    Kiesha's professional experience is primarily in commercial, multi-use residential and institutional construction management. Projects of note include the Baltimore NFL Stadium currently known as M&T Bank Stadium for the Baltimore Ravens, Court Building B for DC Superior Court, 22 West Condominiums, Network Solutions Headquarters relocation, Westory Annex Office Building, Hilton Washington Hotel Renovation, Hayes Street Apartments, Rosedale Community Center and the USAID Design Mobility Lab Tenant Improvement in the Ronald Reagan Building for International Trade.

    She also serve as a board member for Sarah’s Circle which is an independent living senior resident community in the Adams Morgan section of Ward 1 in Washington, DC serving extremely low income senior citizens. 

    Kiesha is very active in my church, First Baptist Church of Glenarden, and participate with various ministry including Prosperity Partners, Sisters in Discipleship and Willing Workers.

    She a native of Washington, DC and a graduate of the historic Paul Laurence Dunbar Senior High School. Also, she enjoys traveling, reading, attending live concerts and performing arts, going to the cinema, volunteering with my church, professional organization and Sarah’s Circle as well as visiting museums and other historical places.

(Flo). They have been friends for 27 years and life partners for 7 years. Each owns and operates their own business -Hustle a commercial cleaning service and Flo a home daycare. Together in 2013 they created Hustle & Flo Productions hosting social events for lesbians 25 years of age and over. Each event HUSTLE & FLO hosts has its own unique theme, raffles, food and highlights health topics for women each month. The monthly dances are strictly for women but Hustle and Flo have found ways to support the entire LGBTQ community by hosting free events to collect donations for other organizations, participating in back-to-school events and more. Hustle and Flo believes in the SHE Concept –Support other LGBTQ businesses and organizations by attending events; Highlight lesbian owned businesses at each monthly events and Educate women on health topics at each month. These monthly events also offer attendees a space to display and showcase novels, artwork or lesbian owned /operated (LOO's) business material. The events are held the 4th Saturday of each month in Canton, MI and attract omen from as far away as Florida.  Making it work in love, life and business – HUSTLE & FLO will be sharing it all and maybe even share a few new dance steps.
