This inheritance can be as much a burden as it is a blessing. How do you organize your loved one's estate in a way that honors your loved one, keeps the pe

Mahamond Ali Best fan Mr.Glenn A. Singleton is a native of Ama, a small, country town located on the outskirts of New Orleans, Louisiana. Singleton remembers being compassionate about real life biographies such as, Brian’s Song, The Jackie Robinson Story and Remember the Titans. These awesome documentaries that captured real-life heroes, were and are the inspiration behind his twenty-year journey to Crossing Over, A Tribute to Don Raymond. Inspired to take on the daunting task of documenting the tale of his big brother’s best friend, Don Raymond, Singleton has accurately detailed the tale of a legend. Glenn A. Singleton is a graduate of Hahnville High School. In 1980, Singleton experienced a terrible house fire and lost most of his possessions, including his brother Larry’s keepsakes of his friend Don Raymond. Since 1980, Singleton has been journaling the memories of Don Raymond. What was orginally intended to be a journal of memories for his brother Larry, has now become Crossing Over. Singleton has been recognized by Muhammad Ali as his “best” fan and takes pride in his state of the art Muhammad Ali Museum he has built in Ama, Louisiana. He also enjoys giving time to St. Mark’s Perpetual Adoration Chapel and he spends most of his time with family at home in Ama.

Livingston, NJ – There's a reason newspapers, magazines and web sites across the country carry daily horoscopes: millions of people, particularly women, live their lives and make decisions based on their astrological signs.
An inventor and former high school English teacher, Sheila Kalisher is the founder of A.L.L.’S. WELL & CO. and creator of Ladies of the Zodiac™, a collection of greeting cards featuring vibrant artistic images celebrating women worldwide. Kalisher believed women who love astrology would be drawn to a unique astrological style of art they could call their own and collect.
“The whole project is about making women feel good,” says Kalisher. “It’s a global celebration of women.”
Kalisher founded A.L.L.’S. WELL & CO. in the summer of 1986, as a platform for her conceptual product innovations. With a tenacity befitting a Cancer, Kalisher produced a series of greeting cards titled Astrological Tributes in 1997. In 2003, a promotional company in California chose the card line to be included in gift bags for the Daytime Emmy Awards Show at Radio City.
In 2004, the Tribute collection was recreated with even more sophisticated imagery. Ladies of the Zodiac™ features original artwork for each sign as well as corresponding graphics, perfect for mementos and keepsakes.
Kalisher’s artwork is featured on her web site, www.allswellco.com and fans of her designs can visit A.L.L.’S. WELL & CO.’s online web store to create personalized gifts using the imagery at www.cafepress.com/isis499.
Kalisher is actively seeking licensing partners to utilize her creations and produce quality products for women in venues such as magnets, mugs, apparel and floral fragrances.
The Unofficial Family Archivist advocates for the value, recording and care of your family memories. Are you passing on a well-rounded collection of personal papers, photographs and memorabilia or are you passing on bits that leave more questions than answers? Keep and maintain the good stuff that highlights your life story. Get rid of the clutter.
Within every home is a treasure trove of information. Unfortunately, many irreplaceable documents that help tell individual stories, and the stories of our communities, are deteriorating among our personal belongings.
With that warning in mind, The Unofficial Family Archivist focuses on the care of personal papers, photographs, and memorabilia found in the typical home. Written for individuals who hope to protect family history, this book provides everything an unofficial archivist needs to ensure materials that connect us with our past are available for future generations. Its goal is to help you create and maintain a valuable family and community resource of recorded information about your world from the unique point of view of you and your loved ones.
Author Melissa Mannon is an archivist, cultural heritage consultant and author of the ArchivesInfo blog and newsletter. The Unofficial Family Archivist expands the information from her previous publication, Cultural Heritage Collaborators: A Manual for Community Documentation. Melissa's consulting work, projects and workshops encourage cultural heritage organizations to work collaboratively with local governments, businesses, and individuals who keep records in order to identify archives and plan for their care.
