    Singer, Keaton Simons RETURNS!

    in Entertainment

Keaton Simons is truly what the Los Angeles Times called “a triple threat.” He captivates audiences with his compelling, soul-baring songs, masterful acoustic and electric guitar playing, and authentic voice. The energy and passion that Keaton brings to his work, whether in the studio, performing solo or with his full band, is as infectious as his lyrics and as stirring as his melodies. Keaton Simons released his sophomore full-length album, Beautiful Pain, co-produced with Mikal Blue (Colbie Caillat, One Republic), and soap fans, over 20 of Keaton's songs have been heard on CBS Daytime's "The Young and the Restless" over the last few months as well! We will be discussing how this album has exploded into daytime and new fans worldwide.

Frank Bang, Sterling Koch, Sena Ehrhardt & Keaton Simons

    in Music

Frank Bang spent 5 years touring with Buddy Guy, has played on stage with Eric Clapton, Dave Matthews and Carlos Santana to name a few.  He released 4 albums, and then took time off to raise his family. Now he and his band Secret Stash are back making music.  His latest album is Double Dare and will be released on May 21. Frank will join me to discuss his life, career and new album, while we listen to some tunes.
Sterling Koch is a nationally recognized lap steel guitarist who is a touring/recording solo artist and session musician. Sterling specializes in playing Chicago-style, slide guitar blues in a contemporary style on the lap steel guitar. His latest album, Let It Slide is a collection of some sweet music.  After years of playing guitar, Koch was told he need to stop once a herniated disc was found in his neck.  Foregoing surgery Koch decided to take up the lap steel.  Frank joins me as we discuss his career and listen to his music.
Sena Ehrhardt grew up in Minnesota with a blues-loving, guitar-playing dad, so it is no surprise when she followed in his footsteps into music.  Her first album, Leave The Light On, earned her a Blues Music Award Nomination for Best Debut Artist. and now, her second album, All In, was just released and it shows the growth she has gained in her songwriting, playing and singing. Produced by the great Jim Gaines, Sena and her band explode through 11 excellent tunes. I will chat with Sena about her life and how much it has changed in the last year and where she is headed in the future.
Keaton Simons joined me back in June of 2012 to discuss his debut album.  He is releasing his new album and bringing it to The Couch with him.  This young man plays music of different genres, but it all falls under the GOOD STUFF label.

The Afterlife Healing Circle w/Candace L. Talmadge

    in Spirituality

Candace has written for numerous media, including Adweek, Business Week, Week, the Dallas Times Herald, Forbes, the International Herald Tribune, The New York Times, and Reuters America. She has also been a syndicated political columnist whose works have appeared in publications such as Liberal Opinion Week. Nearly three decades ago, Candace encountered an alternative healing method called Sunan therapy that enabled her to resolve many of her emotional and spiritual wounds. This therapy also helped her become familiar with the intimate link between spirituality, energy, and healing. It introduced her to some of her past lives and those of family and friends. Based on these experiences, she co-authored and published Hope is in the Garden—--Healing Resolution Through Unconditional Love. This nonfiction explores emotional and spiritual healing resolution based on the Sunan method of working in the energy of human consciousness. In this book, she provides an expanded definition of energy that demonstrates the connection between matter, spirit, mind, and heart. Candace and her co-author, Jana L. Simons, have published new nonfiction titled, The Healing Circle—How Anyone Can Contact the Other Side. This spiritual self-help book teaches readers how to contact not only departed loved ones, but children who are not yet born.

HOLLYWOOD LEGEND RICHARD ANDERSON AKA "OSCAR GOLDMAN" & WRITER AL DOSHNA

    in Entertainment

Richard Anderson is perhaps best-known in recent years for his roles as the Narrator, Captain Stiles, in the television series Kung Fu: The Legend Continues (1993-1997) with David Carradine and Chris Potter, as well as his role as Buck Fallmont in Dynasty (1986-1987). Finally, the full story of his life and incredible career are revealed in his sensational new autobiography.

From humble beginnings as a young actor to his first contract with MGM, Richard’s first big impressions on moviegoers were as Chief Quinn in Forbidden Planet (1956) with Walter Pidgeon and Anne Francis and as Tom McAffee in The Buster Keaton Story (1957) starring Donald O’Connor.

In the early years of what we now call Classic TV, his dozens of appearances were in such memorable series as Zorro (1958-1959), The Untouchables(1960), Thriller with Boris Karloff (1960), The Rifleman (1960-1963), The Alfred Hitchcock Hour (1964), many appearances on Perry Mason (1966), The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1966), and Mission Impossible (1967), to name but a few.  Richard eventually became one of the most familiar faces on television in his role as Oscar Goldman in The Six Million Dollar Man (1974-1978) and The Bionic Woman (1976-1978).
