Born in the U.S., Aaron Jamal Hinton (Also professionally known as “Aaron Fresh”) always knew what he wanted. He migrated to the Caribbean (Trinidad) where he stayed for 5 years. Aaron grained an appreciation for a more diverse culture. This is reflected in his debut song “Spending All My Time”, which earned over 3 million in radio audience and at Pop and Rhythm formats. As a Singer/ Songwriter, Aaron expressed he has no musical preference, as long as the music send a vibe through the soul. It is hard to refer to either of the Jackson couple without mentioning the other. They are truly a team who have distinguished themselves as urban heroes both individually and as a couple. Both are CUBM graduates, with Helen earning her Masters in Organizational Leadership and Andrew working on his bachelor's degree as we broadcast. Helen also serves as the Recruiting Specialist for CUBM, while Andrew serves as building maintenance supervisor for the seminary in which CUBM has classes. Both the Jacksons join Karla and John today to talk about their lives together and their ministry philosophy that has earned them the well-deserved title of urban heroes!
