Mary E. and Diane B., welcome Shona Bolden of Crown Point Indiana and she will be talking Hulafrog. Hulafrog is all about helping parents network with the fun things to do in their community with their kids. We will also feature some local musicians some of The Lawrence Peters Outfit - Chicago, as Paul Smith - Milwaukee, Michelle Qureshi and Carey Germana - Indianapolis.
Shona (pronounced Shawna) Bolden is a resident of Crown Point area and the St. John Township. she has lived in NWI for roughly 5 years. Happily married mother of 2 toddler girls and have another lil one on the way. Shona was a part of the media advertising industry for 12 years. Formerly at a company in the Chicago called Centro. After the birth of her second daughter, she left my BIG CORPORATE job in the city to stay at home with the girls. About a year later, she found out about Hulafrog. Anxious to keep her foot in the door yet still be with her kiddos, she jumped at the opportunity. She is also the chairperson for the NWI Buddy Walk. Its an annual fundraiser for the Down Syndrome Association of Northwest IN. The next walk will be Oct. 5th at the Lake County Fairgrounds.
Along with a new recipe to share, we will be talking about some of the newest wonderful things to do in and around the 80/94 corridor. From Chicagoland to Indianapolis over to Michiana and down to Kankakee. We gotcha covered!

The Ladies of the Diner, Mary E. and Diane B., are slipping into their summer time slot at 9am. They will be celebrating chocolate! Musical guests: Thirty Steps to Forward Thirty Steps to Forward is composed of Seth and Gretchen Powers, a brother and sister folk duo residing amid the tall trees of Michigan. Their feet are constantly tapping to the beating of birds' wings and the sounds of their father's music. Through their strings and voices, the kindred duo strive to sing and play songs of the delicate heart. If you incline your ear you might hear the hand of a girl and boy plucking out the vein of modern music and replacing it with that dusty old heart.

Mary E. LaLuna, is the creator/producer of ArtSees Productions, as well as a member of the acoustic group, Champagne and LaLuna, writer, blogger, and more.

Born in ancient Valta Greece, Sotirios Gardiakos,known as Garsot inspired to draw from the age of 3 and is still creating powerful, original works today. Garsot (pronounced Ghar-So) remains the quintessential ‘inspirational optimist’ for a more Human Earth. Spanning over half a Century, his paintings, sculptures and mixed media art evoke positive feelings, express masterful technique and showcase unlimited styles. The result is exceptional, technically explosive artwork that is as fresh and unique as today’s ultra-competitive Art Scene. In 2014, he continues work creating at his West Loop Chicago Gallery and Ft. Lauderdale studio. A new series of organic abstracts, prismatic shapes and empowering thoughts on canvas was unveiled at Art Expo New York April 4-6 at Pier 94.
