"Black Woman, Listen Up: Black Men Speak Out On Black Relationship Barriers"

    in Lifestyle

SPONSORED BY MARK PITTMAN--Endless discussions, complaints, excuses, and finger-pointing  have been exchanged among us highlighting, if not full-page advertising, the utterly dismantled state of African-Americans. Many suggestions and "down-the-line" plans have been sketched out, but unfortunately, the bickering remains in surplus while our time to rejuvenate and restore is running out. There's an age-old favorite pastime that has been virally reactivated--The Slaughter of The Black Innocents"--which is claiming the lives of our children without reason and without consequence. The modern-day version of this game is more vicious and callous, and since our precious youth has taken on their killers head-on without their protectors, we must do some fast-track damage control so we can resume our much-ignored roles and protect what's left of them. What happened to that unique, sacred and once-impenetrable force field of safety our people valued and refused to negotiate away? The regal unit known as the Black family..headed by the Black Kings and Queens who held each other down no matter what the outsiders threw at them? Tonight, Black men speak out to Black women on the roles they play in the destrcution of the Black relationship,. as well as their own secret struggles that prevents them from verbalizing to their women, hence further broadening the fatal gap. Join in tonight at 10:30 pm EST at 347-327-9967

Roughed up in Buffalo, the Packers drop to wildcard position.

    in Sports

In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble; presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec will talk about the Green Bay Packers loss to the Buffalo Bills.  The Packers entered this game with a five game winning streak, but have never won, in Buffalo.  The Bills came into the game clinging to hope, of making the AFC playoffs.  This was previewed as to which unit would win, the Packers offense or Bills defenese.

The Bills defense won the battle, from the beginning of the game.  The physical style of play held Aaron Rodgers without a touchdown pass, and forced two interceptions.  Rodgers did not recieve any help, as his receivers dropped passes, like they were hot potatoes.  The first interception was a ball that was slightly underthrown to Randall Cobb.  However, streaking down the right sideline was a wide open Jordy Nelson, that would have been a touchdown.  Later in the game, Nelson made a double move and was open again.  This time, Rodgers fired a strike but the ball hit Nelson's fingertips and fell harmlessly, to the ground.  In the fourth quarter, the Packers were driving, Rodgers fired to Jarrett Boykin and the ball deflected, into the air.  Bacarri Rambo, filling in for the injured Duke Williams, intercepted his second pass of the day.  The Packers defense did hold Kyle Orton, in check.  The Bills offense did not score a touchdown, and this game resembled the losses to Seattle and Detroit.  Marcus Thigpen accounted for the only Bills touchdown, scoring on a 75 yard punt return.

The Packers had one last chance, to win the game.  With 1:58 left in the game, the Packers took over, on their own 10 yard line.  However, on the first play, of the drive, Mario Williams beat J.C. Tretter and forced a fumble.  This ended the game, as a safety was awarded to Buffalo, because of the two minute fumble rule.

Packers offense vs. Bills defense, which unit will prevail? Game Preview

    in Sports

In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec will  talk about the Green Bay Packers vs. Buffalo Bills game, on Sunday.  The Packers (10-3) have a one game advantage over the Detroit Lions, so every game is important.  The Lions defeated the Packers, earlier this season.  Therfore, they hold the current tie-breaker, should the teams be tied.

The Bills are one of five teams that have a 7-6 record, in the AFC.  They are one game behind the Steelers, Ravens, and Chargers.  A loss this weekend, could make the playoffs a long shot.  Kyle Orton is at the helm, and one of his favorite targets has been rookie, Sammy Watkins.  Watkins leads the team in receptions, with 58.  The running game has been decimated by injury, with four running backs seeing action. The strength of the Bills, has been their defense.  They are ranked fourth, in points allowed (18.5) and fifth, in yards (311.9).  This is the match-up we will discuss.  Can the Packers offense, ranked first in points (32.5) and sixth in yards (387.5).  Which unit do you think will prevail, on Sunday? Listen in our call the show.
