The Tigers play an important series with the Kansas City Royals after blowing 2 of 3 in Minnesota to the Twins earlier. The Twins are bad, even with manager Ron Gardenhire. Let me prove you homers wrong!
Justin Verlander gets his revenge on the Kansas City Royals in a 10-1 win last Friday night!
Looking at the rest of their schedule, which is all at home, featuring the Chicago White Sox and the Twins. The Tigers HAVE to finish it NOW!
As the host of SevsDeadSerious I am astonished by the amount of time and ink (GB in the space age I think) spent breaking down, discussing, watching, wishing (this would involve an entire spectrum of emotions depending on viewpoint and level of cynicism) and salivating over for any of a million reasons from horn dog to trophy bitch and all matter in between. Does the public need to be continually reminded that Justin is a little douche bag; do we need to watch the further misadventures and responsibility void of Amanda; has Kim's ass changed all that much over the many years I have learned to loath her while still admitring her ability to still give me an erection; and for God's sake must we watch another episode of Lindsay in her drug-addled (you name it she either did, is doing it, or will be doing it), talentless to a degree that turns bad into a spectacle life as a cum-recptacle for anyone willing to endure her for the prescribed time. Frankly, I love it...even when my life hits those bumps in the road I don't have to do it in front of someone like me. Face it, the host is an asshole
On tonight's episode of Talking in Circles we talk about a high profile crew chief, Slugger Labbe, currently crew chief of Paul Menard's number 27 team, moving up at Richard Childress Racing. Labbe, has had a great deal of success with Menard, including Paul's first Sprint Cup Series win in 2011 at Indianapolis. He moves on to an R&D role with the team, and Justin Alexander will take over for Labbe.
Also, Regan Smith is now back at JR Motorsports for 2015. Smith, a former Sprint Cup Series driver, has spent the last two seasons in the Nationwide Series with JR Motorsports. Is Regan Smith the first chip to fall. Where do the other veteran drivers go now? Elliott Sadler?
Also, veteran Mike Ford will move on from BK Racing and become a crew chief in the NASCAR Nationwide Series with Athenian Motorsports, the family owned team for John Wes Townley. Mike Beam used to be the cc there, no word on where he's going.
This week in NASCAR history takes us back to September 30, 1990, when a young and up and coming driver Robby Moroso was tragcially killed in a car accident after the race in North Wilkesboro. Moroso was crowned rookie of the year in 1990, even though he wasn't there to accept the award. We'll talk about the legacy of Robby Moroso and how he helped pave the way for the "young guy."
Also, we'll do our Kansas preview and give you our predictions.

Director Justin Simien doesn’t care much for the epic “black experience,” if such a thing even exists. When asked if he felt compelled to portray all facets of African American life in his first—and much-buzzed about—feature flick, Dear White People, he scoffs at the notion. “That’s not a pressure that a Jewish filmmaker feels—ever. Woody Allen doesn’t sit there thinking, God, am I telling the full history of the Jewish-American experience? That’s not a subject that any other filmmaker in any other sub-genre deals with,” he tells Keeping It Reel host Tim Gordon. “It shackles your heart. You end up making stuff about people who don’t exist, if you feel like you have to talk about everybody. Obviously my movie has race right there in the title. And I’d like to see more movies with casts of color that dabble in their experiences. But ultimately they should be about the human condition.”
