SORT BY Relevancy
["On Demand" Pre-recording! Do not call in tonight.] The Book of Judges has some of the weirdest stories you'll ever find in the Bible. It was a time of moral coarseness, of gross spiritual decline. In just two generations the covenant people who had once been godly under Joshua and his appointed elders had descended into sodomy, lawlessness, and moral outrages of every sort. It reads like today's headlines. The Israelites had forgotten the fear of God. And the judges of those days were hardly better than the worst of them. Now here's what happened: a Levite, a holy man, goes to his in-laws to retrieve his runaway adulterous concubine. On his way back to his hometown he's forced to journey through the pagan territory of the Jebusites. Deciding not to spend the night there, he sojourns instead in the Israelite territory of Gibeah. The men of Gibeah demand that he come out of his host's house so they can have sex with him. The host of the house begs them not to do this wickedness, and sends out the man's concubine instead, whom they rape to the point of her death. The Levite demands justice, but the town won't give him justice, and what he does next is so bizarre that it's hard to believe it's in the Bible. But this is the event God uses to humble this coarse culture that once knew him, to bring judgment upon them, as well as remorse and repentance. But it was an enormous price to pay: civil war! Tonight (Thurs.) we'll talk more about it. Tune in and take notes! Your host: Rev. Rick Anderson, on "Jewish Roots", each Thursday at 9:30 pm EDT. This episode will discuss judicial corruption and what must be done by the President, the Senate and local Governments to address justice reform. We cannot pretend that we do not have a problem in this Country when we can buy and sale judges - justice - at any price.
Not a problem? Then, why did our U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg address a need for reform concerning the money involved in electing judges, and even went as far as saying that it remains one of the most pressing concerns facing the American court system?
From local to federal appointments judicial corruption is a critical issue and as long as judges are for sale then, we do not have justice and there will never be reform. Judicial corruption is not limited to finance, we have judges who purchase drugs from dealers and sex from underaged children as well as victims of human trafficking and child sexual exploitation. We have judges sale justice - outcomes - of cases.
Every sector of the electoral process is subject to term limits and campaign financing management except the role of judges in America. A corrupt judiciary means a corrupt prosecutor and corrupt prosecutor means corrupt police - so when we question why some police act without regard of human rights and constitutional safeguards, look to the Magistrate court who signed the warrant, the prosecutor who will prosecute the case and the judge who will issue the sentence. The same is true in a civil matter. There lies the problem!
This week, we continue the book of Judges! The woman judge Deborah!
The darkest period in Israel's history.
Things are going good, they forget God and his principles, they decline, they end up in bondage, they cry out for help, God sends a judge, they repent, things go good again.... Repeat!
This is the pattern of both man and society!
Join us each week as we study the story outlined in Old Testament History from Genesis to Esther. We wander each week through the story of the Israelites as they head toward Christ, watching for the portrait that God painted of Christ, the Word, and his Church in the story of the Old Testament!
The Yardie Skeptics return this Sunday, September 20th at 12:30pm EDT (11:30am Jamaica time) to take into the very private, rarely investigated professional life of Caribbean judges. What kind of training is required to be a judge in the Caribbean and what is the philosophical framework which informs the notion of "justice" in the Caribbean - is it restorative or simply about vengeance? What is the role of the judiciary in the establishment and protection of human rights and what ideologies influence such rights - secular or religious?
Joining us live on air will be Madam Justice Jacqueline Cornelius of the High Court of Barbados; Justice Douglas Mendes, former Court of Appeal Judge for Belize; and Chief Magistrate Ann-Marie Smith also from Belize. This promises to be quite an educational episode so do tune in and land a coveted opportunity to talk justice with a Caribbean judge!
Be sure to catch us at the beginning when we explore the interesting Jamaican-Nicaraguan connection as seen from the perspective of the Bacons - a family brought together by a whirlwind romance between two love birds on different sides of the Caribbean.
the District Attorney's Office in Stanislaus County has made a practice of shopping for judges who will be favorable to their ability to obtain convictions.
Even with that advantage they have failed to convict those that they want to go after because of defense attorney Frank Carson.
Carson has successfully defended former Mayor Carmen Sabatino, bail bondsman AJ Pontillo, Junior college criminal instructor Frank Drummond, just to name a few.
Other victims of the District Attorney's Office and the FBI have met with success in federal courts.
Carson string of victories will be extended with the acquittal of the charges that have been created for his trial.
Jdge Zuniga is forgetfull, late to court, and not credible with her observations.

Then the sons of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord and served the Baals, and they forsook the Lord, the God of their fathers, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods from among the gods of the peoples who were around them, and bowed themselves down to them; thus they provoked the Lord to anger. So they forsook the Lord and served Baal and the Ashtaroth. The anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and He gave them into the hands of plunderers who plundered them; and He sold them into the hands of their enemies around them, so that they could no longer stand before their enemies. Wherever they went, the hand of the Lord was against them for evil, as the Lord had spoken and as the Lord had sworn to them, so that they were severely distressed.
Then the Lord raised up judges who delivered them from the hands of those who plundered them. Yet they did not listen to their judges, for they played the harlot after other gods and bowed themselves down to them. They turned aside quickly from the way in which their fathers had walked in obeying the commandments of the Lord; they did not do as their fathers.
When the Lord raised up judges for them, the Lord was with the judge and delivered them from the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge; for the Lord was moved to pity by their groaning because of those who oppressed and afflicted them. But it came about when the judge died, that they would turn back and act more corruptly than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them and bow down to them; they did not abandon their practices or their stubborn ways. So the anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and He said, “Because this nation has transgressed My covenant which I commanded their fathers and has not listened to My voice, I also will no longer drive out before them any of the...

Todays show I am going to share information I have gathered on judges their pay and incentives. Why there needs to be more transparency in our family courts and some wrongdoing that is happening because there is no oversight. We the people are standing up, speaking out and asking for change. Many have been affected by these incentives and have had their families and their assetts depleted all in the name of greed others call racketeering in our courts. I will read off the 15 judges duties to lawyers and other judges. How did America let this happen? How do the people in charge set their own rules and regulations that outright destroy what our country was founded on
