The Agenda: More instability and rocky times ahead for the Abbott Government

    in Politics Progressive

The Australian federal government under the leadership of Tony Abbott doesn't seem to be getting any better.

Instead we seem to see continued leaks as Abbott dumped his Chief Whip and the longest serving member in Parliament, Philip Ruddock. But despite promising that he's learned his lessons we continue to see an aggressive and confrontational Prime Minister more interested in political battle and less interested in addressing real issues like inequality, climate change and the need for advanced manufacturing and investment in the clean energy economy.

Join the team as they explore and delve into more instability and rocky times ahead for the Abbott Government.

    Official Stories With Liam Scheff

    in Health

Liam Scheff is the author of the amusing and highly-praised “Official Stories,” a reverse-textbook for all the myths we were taught in school (because “official stories exist to protect officials”).

He is currently finishing his new book, all about the tribe of humans, our sex lives and social networks, and the changes we’ll be faced with in a declining energy culture.

As a journalist, Liam has broken national stories of pharmaceutical badness, been published widely in print and on the web, and has worked on and been featured in films that have not yet been banned by the state censors. To his credit, he’s also been libeled on the front page of the New York Times (see Ch.6 of his book “Official Stories”).

Find him on the web in print, on radio and in performance on TruthFrequencyRadio, MeeMee.tv, liamscheff.com, reducetheburden.org, the FBI social network (facebook), Health Conspiracy Radio, Deadline Live, and on the Robert Scott Bell show. Join Liam on a journey of unraveling the myths and inherited ideas that create our culture.
