It is possibly prophetically significant that the prophet Jonah is being brought back to public consciousness due to the desecration of his tomb. Current events and Biblical prophecy. Things are continuing to stack up around the world as we witness daily events that match the signs Jesus told us to watch for that would herald His soon return.
Because the program must be pre-recorded, I can't take your phone calls. If you want to call in, contact me via email: visit the HOMEWORK page and click on the link.
Current events - Biblical prophecy - tracking the signs of the last days - encouragement - "sermonettes for Christianettes" -
Cures for churchianity - gifts for listeners ("Anakypto Gives Back") - homework - and an occasional dash of subtle Piedmont humor ...

On this edition of MLB Inside the Numbers, we have incredibly disturbing breaking news. According to a Bloomberg Sports article, a settlement ending the Dodgers 2011 battle in U.S. Bankruptcy Court gave the Dodgers' new owners a chance to cap television revenue subject to revenue sharing. Which would violate terms of the collective bargaining agreement between players and owners. Helping us dissect this issue will be John Heylar of Bloomberg.com (the author of the article) and Jonah Keri of Grantland.com

Tonight’s show explores what drives word-of-mouth -- that sometimes free but always highly valuable person-to-person advertising and recommending of products, ideas, and behaviors.
My guest tonight, Wharton marketing professor Dr. Jonah Berger, will debunk the myths and lay out what the research says about how we can design products, ideas, and behaviors so people will talk about them. In other words, so they'll catch on.
Berger’s book we’ll be discussing is Contagious: Why Things Catch On.
