We'll be bringing you the other side of the story, and why so many people seem to be rallying to support a farmer who is trying his best to be open and honest, and provide natural, healthy food.

Earlier this year ThomasNet and the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) announced the winners of their first "30 Under 30 Rising Supply Chain Stars" Recognition Program, a jointly sponsored initiative to advance the future of the supply chain profession. At age 30 or younger, these outstanding professionals have made significant contributions to their organizations, professional associations and the industry at large.
Today we welcome two of these young rising stars Leah Halvorson and Wesley Whitney, along with ThomasNet's Kristin Carty to the show as we focus on “why they chose to become procurement professionals, where do they see themselves headed in terms of the future, and what has being part of the 30 Under 30 program meant to them from both a personal and career standpoint.”
By the way, and courtesy of Inbound Logistics, you can learn more about these two exceptional young professionals, as well as check out the other Top 30 Under 30 selections by clicking on their names within this program guide.

Join Michael Carnahan, "The Infamous One" Double J, and of course "Bad" Brad as they will get you ready for the biggest show of the year coming up this Saturday night. We will finally see who is truely the "Best" when Austin Lane defends the MWA World Heavyweight Championship against challenger Dell Tucker. Also we will see Vic Vicious team with "Mr. 5 Count" Boss as they take on The SubHuman Syndicate. Will we finally see the dream come true for "Insane Andrew"? Find out when he goes into a triple threat for the ASWF Championship against "Action Jackson" Jon Allen, and the man who says its "All about Me" current champion Seth Sabor. And who can forget the match that is guranteed to be a show stopper the eight man ladder match for the International Championship. Can X-Kaliber overcome all the odds and remain the International Champion? And possibly the most important question of all what will happen to the ASWF when Lethal Injection challenges NRG for the ASWF, and MWA World Tag Team Championship and control of the ASWF
New Thought teaches that a change in conciousness can change the world. But what exactly is conciousness, and how does it bring these changes from thought into reality?
The mystery of consciousness--whether or not the quality of awareness arises from the material brain or is a non-material "spark" separate from, but acting in cooperation with the brain--has been investigated by every branch of human inquiry. Yet we're no closer to a difinitive answer today than we were three thousand years ago.
This episode begins a series of discussions concerning consciousness. We'll look at Buddhist ideas, quantum models of consciousness, the materialist or functionalist model, and much more.
The crystal of the week is Citrine.
Reverend Jon Saint Germain is the Voice of the Crystal Silence League, providing Spiritual guidance on the practical use of crystals and crystal balls in the development of mental concentration and mind power, silent influence over others, divination and scrying of the future, and telepathic contact with people and spirits.
I would once again like to welcome from Buyers Meeting Point to share information of this week's events and news from the world of purchasing, Kelly Barner.
NOTE: This week's recommended events are from Rosslyn Analytics (technological breakthroughs in spend analytics), SAP/Ariba and Ardent Partners (CPO Rising 2015), and Zycus and Hackett Group (P2P process measurement). In this week's guest audio, Kevin Lecompte of the Gap Partnership provides a very interesting perspective on the negotiation skills needed by procurement in today's more collaborative business climate.

This week on Behind the Headlines we're talking once again to Jon Ryman. Jon has published two video documentaries on the so-called terror masterminds Samantha Lewthwaite (aka White Widow) and Abdel Bary (aka at one point 'Jihadi John'). Egyptian born British rapper Bary was initially identified as 'Jihadi John', the black-clad figure in last year's spate of ISIS 'beheading' videos. One month ago however, the Washington Post claimed that Jihadi John was in fact Mohammed Emwazi, a Kuwait-born British man in his mid 20s from who grew up in West London.
Most interesting in these cases is the fact that all three of these alleged 'high profile' terrorists were well-known to British and US intelligence services with their families also having extensive links to the British and US establishments. In the case of the 'official' (for now) Jihadi John - Mohammed Emwazi - this "kind and gentle" computer programmer from London was harrassed for several years by British security Services. Emwazi is the subject of Jon's latest video documentary.
So what's really going on here. Are we witnessing a bizzare theatre constructed by Western governments, intelligence services with the mainstream media serving as stage hands? Join us this Sunday March 29th (2-4pm EST, 8-10pm CET) as we discuss the details from Behind the Headlines.

Dean Haglund is back from Australia where he was busy laying the groundwork for his full-time move down under in May. While he was there, he Skyped with Phil Leirness because, well, your friends in podcasting miss each other when they are apart AND because there was the big news about the return of “The X-Files” to discuss. Part of this week’s show will be that (recorded) conversation, wherein they also discuss Gillian Anderson’s “other” current series, the absolutely terrific “The Fall”.
Back in L.A. there’s plenty of TV news to discuss, including Emmy Awards rulings, a new host for "The Daily Show", the return of “Coach”, the possible return of “Twin Peaks” and the “Sherlock” Christmas special. Before his trip, Dean performed and gave a fantastic presentation about Chaplin and City Lights at the Los Angeles Breakfast Club. This will get discussed as the “Live Event of the Week” before Dean and Phil launch into movie news featuring the latest on Eddie Murphy, Idris Elba, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Bradley Cooper. All that, plus two puzzling emails from listeners.
