Join Holly Stephey as she talks to Ed Kleinman who in his words "This is my journey from listening to the bands of the mid 1950's to working with bands in the 60's and 70's. It is filled with stories regarding musicians in a time where the music industry was changing as quickly as the social and political climate."
One tells a story of days gone by. A flash of your history, a snapshot of an instant.
Be it a minute, an hour, a day, or a year, it matters none.
Something jogs your brain cells where past history is stored.
You smile, and you think you have something worth telling.
*Ed Kleinman’s story chronicles his 18 years in the music industry from 1966 to 1984. He started as a part-time roadie making just enough money to buy cigarettes and put gas into his car. Eventually, he was able to hang out with musicians and tell lovely young ladies, “I’m with a band. You wanna meet one of ‘em?”
It tells how he was able to form his own entertainment company until he left the business world of rock and roll.
Those years brought a great deal of change to the music world and to all corners of society. The youth fought for equality for all, protested the Vietnam War and marched against it. The music got stronger, more political and more active in supporting change.
The 18 years he had in the music industry helped him further his career and enrich his sales force development role.
Join him as he reminisces and relives his rock and roll journey.

How do we handle fear when we are giving readings or in our daily lives? Is there a way to protect ourselves from those fears?

Have you ever felt like giving up, quiting and walking away? After all, I must admit that sounds like the easy thing to do doesn't it. When you feel you can't go any further or a or stick it out any longer, we must ask ourselves questions that will lead us back to a place of hope, faith and an unwavering trust to almighty God. For example, if I give up now, what will I miss out on? Who or what am I trusting in to bring me through such difficult and dark trials in my life? Is there anything that I can learn from this trial or suffering? We must ponder on these kinds of questions because they will help us see the big picture and keep us from feeling a sense of hopelessness. The pain of loss and waves of despair are just too much to bear along. Proverbs 13:12 says this," hope deferred makes the heart sick but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life."For some of you going through a difficult marriage or potential divorce, battling addictions you just can't seem to shake loose from or just listening to the wrong voices who speak hurtful words to you, listen carefully, God is not through with you yet, and He loves you more than you'll ever know. This is a Message of Hope for the Hopeless.

Snoodlovah A.K.A LOVAH LOVAH, is an upcoming female Hip Hop artist. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and has have lived in PA for 10 years. Her mother is hispanic, and her father is french and African American. As the only child from her parents growing up she had a lot of alone time, which gave her space to find out who she was at a pretty young age. She can say that she had a pretty fair childhood, it was only when she turned 14 that life began to show its true colors. In learning so, she had to toughen up and roll with the punches. Composing music has been her life since the age of ten. She started off battling her younger family members and ever since then it became her passion to speak through instruments. As she grew with her love for music, she found a hidden talent that she never knew. She was blessed remembering her mother cleaning her home from top to bottom every Saturday morning while playing her R&B music loudly. Snoodlovah would stand in the middle of the living room performing all her favorites songs. When her mother wasn’t cleaning she would play the R&B songs at a low volume and sing over the artist. It was then, Snoodylovah knew from that point, she wanted to sing,
Eager to start her singing career, unfortunately at the age of 11, while visiting her grandmother in PA one summer, Snoodlovah had a life threatening accident in the local amusement park (Dorney Park). She drowned in the wave pool and damaged her voice box. During recovery, she became discourage to even think about music, however after a couple months she realized this wasn’t the end and had to find a way to express herself and music was the only way. In addition to Snoodlovah’s singing career, she has engaged in many theater, screen plays and improv.

Where does one begin with a vocalist of this ability - and magnitude? Are they the same in the case of Indra Rios-Moore? Born in the Lower East Side of New York, Indra's Puerto Rican Mom (who named her after a Hindu deity of sky and rain) would keep her indoors. She was afraid of the dangers OUTSIDE. So, little Indra would entertain herself with Mom's vast collection of Rock, Soul and Jazz - that latter, we're supposing, partly influenced by Indra's Dad. Of African-American/Syrian descent - a Jazz bassist: Donald Moore.
Through her teen years, Indra found herself in fascinating evolution. She had truly been fearful of being on stage - and she was working through that. Also, because of the early promise that Indra had shown regarding her talent, she was studying classical arias - as well as American Folk songs at camp. Combined with what was already immersed as inspiration as a child, her inner repertoire expanded.
At 26, she met Danish Jazz saxophonist, Benjamin Traerup. A year later, they were married and living in Denmark. And Indra's career began to take shape. Benjamin and his transplanted wife formed a trio - with bassist, Thomas Sejthen. The attention that they received translated into accolades, nominations, and then a gift: the Danish Music Award for Best Jazz Vocal. Three albums later, Indra is continuing to receive praise. Her voice and the Hybrid sensibility that has always been part of her soul couldn't have arrived at a better time.
When you hear "Heartland", you will hear the echoes of the past (Motown and Pink Floyd). You'll hear multiple languages. And you'll feel Church. As Indra has said: singing helps her move to an emotional place "where the mind doesn't interfere."
