Rev. Johnny Lee Clary learned to hate at a very young age. He was raised in a family filled with racism, anger, and bigotry. As a young teenager, Johnny found himself alone and looking for someplace to belong. At 14 he was seduced by the teachings of the notorious David Duke and the Ku Klux Klan, and he joined the organization. As an impressionable young man.
Come hear Rev Johnny Lee Clary's amazing story of how he got out of the KKK and gave his life to God.

Tonight my guest is Rhonda Lee Carver
Suffering from years of hopeless romantic notions with sexy, sassy heroines and bad-ass heroes taking residence in her mind, Rhonda decided to write, bringing the stories alive. With baby on hip and laptop on the other, and a couple of years later, Rhonda has published six eBooks with a handful of spicy love stories waiting for the final touches. When Rhonda isn’t crafting edge-of-your-seat, sizzling novels, you will find her with her children, watching soccer, watching a breathtaking movie, traveling to exotic places, doing (or trying) yoga, and finding new ways to keep her smile bright.Rhonda thrives on making her readers happy.
On the next edition of Fiber Hooligan (9/23/13) my guest will be my friend Johnny Vasquez. Johnny is the lead instructor at the Yarn Craft Academy and co-author of The 30 Day Sweater. As Head Honcho at Yarn Nation he works to provide resources that help grow the fiber arts industry and allow yarn lovers to enjoy their craft more fully. Johnny will be joining us to tell us about his work and a new project he's starting… The 30 Day Sweater Challenge… a month knit-a-long where he's going to try to get 5,000 knitters to make a sweater during the month of October. Johnny is a lot of fun. I hope you'll join us for this show.

Marcia Lee Laycock is the author of "An Unexpected Glory". It is Volume 5 in Best-Selling author Kathi Macias' 12 Days of Christmas Series.
Here is more on the story and Marcia:
Pastor Steve is thrilled with the ticket sales for their big fund-raiser - a spectacular Christmas pageant that raises enough money to keep the homeless shelter running all year. Then the phone rings. The news goes from bad to worse and it looks like the entire show will have to be cancelled. But Steve's right hand man, Stanley convinces him the homeless men in the shelter can make it all happen. And the unexpected glory unfolds.
Marcia is a pastor's wife, the mother of three grown daughters, a freelance writer and Christian speaker. She is a published author and editor, having written for Christian magazines and newspapers in the U.S. and Canada, as well as home-town newspapers. Her short stories, articles and poetry have won awards in Canada and the U.S. and been broadcast on CBC radio. Her work also appears frequently on the world wide web.
Marcia and her family currently live in Central Alberta, Canada.
For the past 20+ years I've been a pastor's wife, mother of three girls, caretaker of two dogs, two cats and sundry fish, and oh, yes, a freelance writer. The writing began in the attic of my parent's house where I wrote stories for my dolls. None of them complained, so I kept it up. The Lord has abundantly blessed, challenged, rebuked, healed and restored me through the process of writing and being involved with writers. Visit my website - www.marcialeelaycock.com

Please join our host, Victor Ng, as he interviews Daniel Kennedy, the writer of the film, Brandon.
From Daniel: Twenty years ago, the son of Bruce Lee overcame his childhood grief and, against all odds, pursued and achieved his dreams -- all before leaving us at the age of 28.
His name was Brandon Lee.
We want to honor Brandon by giving his inspirational life story to the world; simply put, Brandon's private battle with grief makes a life-changing bio-pic experience.
Because of the worldwide Lee Family following, we believe this is a worthwhile project.
