One of my oldest friends and fellow Inwoodite, Jim Casey, returns to my "johnmac's Radio Show"  microphones to detail his 10 year effort to the return beautiful stained glass windows made in France around the turn of the 20th Century for the De La Salle Christian Brothers to the Christian Brothers. In the course of te conversation, we will discuss the history of the Brothers in France and the US, the history of the Windows, the Brothers' move to Barrytown, NY, Jim's own experience as a Christian ?Brother, the transfer of the Barrytown property from the Brother to the Unification Movement (a/k/a "Moonies"). Jim's re-awakened interest in the Windows and his research in France and the US, photography, book about them, and, finally, his successful campaign to have the Windows removed from Barrytown and installed at Manhattan College.
