Super Bowl 50 Preview: Broncos or Panthers; race issue? Fantasy done in US?

    in Football

Our super Bowl picks.  A big game because Boychic and I are both 7-3 in the playoffs.  And that is all that matters.

Is this a make or break Super Bowl for Cam Newton?  And what about the race question.

More on the L-A relocation.  We think we know what will happen next season.

Will you pay attention to half-time show?

And fantasy sports is still a jumble.  We don’t really know if it will be here or where.  I’m just back from the world’s biggest gaming convention in London and I witnessed a new fantasy sports site.

    Banks closing down fantasy sports.

Kap wants to go to the Jets?

Johnny Manziel might have worse problems than his arm.  We’ll go into some rumors and reports.

Eric Snyder is the author of a book on the Raiders and Raider Nation.  You can hear him on the Power Hour on 1340 Fox Sports Radio in Las Vegas.

I have the Panthers winning 23-16.  It think it goes down to the last series and the kickers are involved.  A few days ago I thought this might be a blow out, but as I looked further I think it is going to be a good one.  I am still worried about the Denver defensive injuries -- even though reports say they played at full speed.  Overall, I think the Panthers are loose.  I think they are a better team but I think the Denver experience keeps them real close.  Who you got?

You can follow me on Twitter and Facebook at John Daly Sports.

Folks, thanks for following and tuning in.  Enjoy the game.

The Real Deal Bible Study With Host Minister Akaiha Numbers 5-11

    in The Bible

I greet you with the joy that comes from knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  God's has an awesome purpose and plan for our lives.  Even Greater Things (John 14:12). We are so excited you have tuned in today.  Praise the Lord for the great things He has done!

As our ancestors would say  " I'm a nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody who can save everybody". I pray that God will enabled you to further open your eyes and ears to Gods' word.

Numbers begins at Mount Sinai where the Israelites have received their laws and covenant from God and God has taken up residence among them in the sanctuary.  The task before them is to take possession of the Promised Land. The people are numbered and preparations are made for resuming their march. The Israelites begin the journey, but they "murmur" at the hardships along the way, and about the authority of Moses and Aaron. For these acts, God destroys approximately 15,000 of them through various means. They arrive at the borders of Canaan and send spies into the land, but upon hearing the spies' fearful report concerning the conditions in Canaan the Israelites refuse to take possession of it, and God condemns them to death in the wilderness until a new generation can grow up and carry out the task.

“God is not just in the church; He is also in technology..  “Walking with God is to stand where God stands, and to fight for whom God fights: the poor, the weak, the powerless and the defenseless. Walking with God is to have the courage to know that fear and trepidation before the might of the powerful is overturned by the fear of the Lord !  Walking with God is to understand, without doubt or equivocation that justice is what Yahweh requires.  Ashe Selah

    St. John Nepomucene

    in Religion

Rebroadcast of the long running radio program, "The Ave Maria Hour", a presentation of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement. www.AtonementFriars.org

In his early childhood, John Nepomucene was cured of a disease through the prayers of his good parents. In thanksgiving, they consecrated him to the service of God. After he was ordained, he was sent to a parish in the city of Prague. He became a great preacher, and thousands of those who listened to him changed their way of life. Father John was invited to the court of Wenceslaus IV. He settled arguments and did many kind deeds for the needy people of the city. He also became the queen's confessor. When the king was cruel to the queen, Father John taught her to bear her cross patiently. One day, about 1393, the king asked him to tell what the queen had said in confession. When Father John refused, he was thrown into prison. A second time, he was asked to reveal the queen's confession. "If you do not tell me," said the king, "you shall die. But if you obey my commands, riches and honor will be yours." Again Father John refused. He was tortured. The king ordered to be thrown into the river. Where he drowned, a strange brightness appeared upon the water. He is known as the "martyr of the confessional." He is patron of Czechoslovakia, where he is invoked against floods and against slander. His feast day is May 16.
