Tonight's show will be a bit different. I will have John D Rachel as a guest tonight rather than just me ranting about how the world is and how we should change it. John has a few ideas about this stuff so I'll talk to him:)
Tonight's show will be at 11pm Eastern time - since I have an earlier engagment at the muesuem to see a screening of the new Comos with Neil deGrasse Tyson.
John Rachel has a B. A. in Philosophy, has traveled extensively, is a songwriter and music producer, a left-of-left liberal, and has spent his life trying to resolve the intrinsic clash between the metaphysical purity of Buddhism and the overwhelming appeal of narcissism. Prompted by the trauma of graduating high school and having to leave his beloved city of Detroit to attend college, the development his social skills and world view was arrested at age 18. This affliction figures prominently in all of his creative work. He is author of eight novels, four of which are coming out in 2014 and 2015. He has also had over 30 short stories, 7 poems, and numerous political articles published in both print and online magazines. He has been traveling through and living in over 26 countries since leaving in 2006. He now lives in a small farming village near Osaka. JDRachel.com

As the world prepares for the Centennial observance of the start of World War I, virtually every media outlet around the globe is preparing both coverage and content to saturate the minds of a public which has virtually no memory of the conflict. Included in this historical deluge, will be a small mountain of new books professing to have new observations and interpretations of the first great global conflict of the 20th Century. And though much of this content will be focused on interested adults, some publishers are taking the time and effort to reach out to teen and young adult audiences and introduce them to World War I through the medium of graphic books. An evolved version of comic books, graphic books provide a picture component in addition to text. Graphic books have been growing in both popularity and sophistication over the past few decades, and several publishers are going to be issuing volumes with a World War I focus in the months and years ahead.
So it is no surprise that one of of these books is going to focus on one of the most compelling personalities of the First World War: Baron Manfred von Richthofen. Known as the "Red Baron," Richthofen was the highest scoring fighter "ace" of World War I with 80 confirmed "kills" against Allied aircraft. And despite being killed during the "Michael" Offensive in 1918, remains today one of the most respected and well-known personalities of the conflict. To learn more about Manfred von Richthofen and the new graphic book which tells his story, join military historian, author and journalist John D. Gresham (@greshamj01) for Military Monday at 1 p.m. Eastern. His guest this week is Zenith Press (@Zenith_Press) author and illustrator Wayne Vansant, the creator of the new graphic book THE RED BARON. So tune in for an hour on the history of World War I, and the story of the Red Baron.

DR.John discusses self fufilling prophecy.
A Self Fulfilling Prophecy is a prediction that causes itself to come true due to the simple fact that the prediction was made. This happens because our beliefs influence our actions.Self-fulfilling prophecies is define as a person's expectations of event and his/her behavior based on their expectations, and make the event more likely to occur than make it true. There are two kinds of self-fulfilling prophecies known as self-imposed prophecies and the other one is when self-fulfilling prophecies is used on one person to another. An example of self-fulfilling prophecies that occurs often in our everday life is a job interview. You know how we feel when we go to an interview. We're nervous about messing up and not sure about how to answer some questions. We might think that we're not suit for the job. But then you have a positive attitude that affect how you feel about yourself, because a friend of yours who work at the company said that you are the type of person that the employer are looking for. The interview goes by well, and your positive attitude and confidence got you the job.
