Bible Study: God's Problem and Solution

Welcome to W.O.Prayer’s Bible Study Series!

Module 4: No Law, No Love

Lesson 8 – The Sanctuary Message: A Salvation Blue Print

Did you know that God has a problem? YES God! He has a big problem, and that problem is sin! the question has been asked, how can God save the sinner without also saving the sin, and how can He destroy sin without also destroying the sinner?

John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

According to this verse God has the solution to the sin problem yet there are other verses in the Bible that add that there is more to His plan beyond Calvary!

Listen to this episode as we discuss God's problem, solution and plan!

    Enjoy and share!

    SDG 224 Christmas is LOVE

    in Spirituality

    John 3:16 and 1 Corinthians 13

John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son.

Now if you’re looking for something to give somebody this Christmas I hope you gave them LOVE!

When God gave His son Jesus, He was giving us His gift of LOVE.

Our world's falling apart and the only cure is LOVE despite what a lot of secular experts have been saying.

Like that pop song said..., “What the world needs now is love.” and isn't that the truth?

Jesus warned us that in these last days,,,, “... iniquity shall abound and the love of many shall wax cold.”

So love's a precious gift from God desperately needed by us all especially in this Christmas season.

Be sure to tune into this message to learn three great truths of Christmas which include: The values, the virtues and the victories of love that are always so important especially during the Christmas Season!

The Seven Great Wonders of John 3:16 (Part 2)

    in Christianity

    Sunday Evening Evangelistic Message #133

TEXT -- John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

On last week, we began looking at the seven great wonders of a single verse that has enormous meaning for every human who has ever lived. The words of John 3:16 have amazed and blessed people for two thousand years. These words are very familiar to most of us. They are so familiar, in fact, that many of us do not think of them in any special way anymore. But, there are seven great wonders in this verse that we are discovering from the Word of God.

On last week, we saw that the first wonder is the Great Authority -- that is God himself Who is the reason behind John 3:16. The second wonder is the great motive -- that is agape love which is what motivated God to set in motion a plan to save humanity. And, we saw also that the third wonder is the great gift -- Jesus Christ himself whom God gave to the world so that we might be saved.

Now, as we move on, let us look at the remaining four great wonders of John 3:16.

    An Attitude Of Love - 1 Corinthians 13:1-8a; 1 John 4:7-1 John 5:5; John 3:16

    in Christianity

Today's broadcast is about LOVE. Are we truly walking in Love like we say we are?

If we study 1 Corinthians 13:1-8a, we will find out what love is and what love isn't. Furthermore, if we study 1 John 4:7-1 John 5:5 we will find out if we truly LOVE GOD or is it just something we say.

The final scripture I discuss is John 3:16 For God SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE....HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON...

Did you catch that? He, GOD GAVE....HIS SON FOR YOU AND FOR ME! Jesus laid down his life for us....His friends. How many of us want to lay down our lives and walk in love? How many are willing to love, in spite of?

I hope you enjoy the broadcast.

    God bless you.

The Seven Great Wonders of John 3:16 (Part 1)

    in Christianity

    Sunday Evening Evangelistic Message #132

TEXT -- John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

In our history lessons as children we learned of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. These were architectural feats that amaze us even today because of the limited resources and knowledge which the creators had to work with. These seven wonders were: the statue of Zeus at Olympia, the beautiful hanging gardens of Babylon, the temple of Artemis in Ephesus, the Mausoleum of Mausolus in Turkey, the great, glistening Colossus of Rhodes, the mighty pyramids of Giza, and the lighthouse at Alexandria.

Even though we have made great progress in architecture, technology, and design since those ancient times, students of history and archaeology are still astounded and amazed at what our ancestors built thousands of years ago.

Today, I want us to look at some words that have amazed and astounded people for two thousand years. These words are rooted in the eternal past and have meaning for the eternal future. These are the words of Jesus Christ found in John 3:16. Out of the 31,373 verses in the Bible, this one is perhaps the most quoted and the most memorized of them all. Imagine what it must have been like to be Nicodemus -- the very first person in recorded history to hear these words, uttered by none other than Jesus Christ himself: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
