Three Biggest Mistakes Salespeople Make in Job Interviews
Recently on Shark Tank, the two fitness experts who were pitching to get money for their fabulous new exercise equipment, lost the investors’ interest in less than 30 seconds. They immediately started demonstrating exercises. Showing their stuff! The investors wanted to know: What makes your product different from all the other equipment? They had not anticipated this question to any degree. Needless to say, they didn’t get any offers for funding. Did you know that when you are meeting someone face-to-face, that they make 22 different judgments about you in 11 seconds? That is research from Naomi Rhode, a veteran corporate speaker and trainer.

The Book of Job is probably one of the Bible books that is least read and the least that's understood. Few know of a time span for Job , as well as any of his contemporaries except those mentioned in the Book. In this program we look at some things that opens up our understanding and expands our boundaries on what we think about Job , who he was , where this land of Uz was and when he lived.
Then there is " Why a program about Job? " wondered that myself when God started dealing with me about this man and this Book. Awhile after being directed to this Book I see what makes this Book and this man so relative to me , to us in this day and hour. This won t be yourcommon usual teaching on Job nor will it draw the usual conclusion's we are so prone to hear about the subject.
Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
Job 8:8-9: “For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers: (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:) Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?”
Despite assurances from the mass media that the economy has improved, employees remain vulnerable to restructurings and layoffs. Downsizing is rippling through the energy sector in response to the fall in oil prices, while tech giant IBM is poised to announce the biggest round of cutbacks in its history. Tonight we will look at the dynamics of searching for a job in today's employment market. Networking is critical, as well as a structure to guide one through the pitfalls of an experience that is simultaneously daunting and liberating.

When a blazing inferno or fire occurs it often leaves behind a great heap of ashes left for the clean-up crew. And so ashes seem useless and nothing good coming from it. Or take for example our own brokenness and sense of loss and despair, some think life is over, game over. Its in divorce, difficult relationships, or just hanging on to a particular sin and identifying with it instead of Christ. Perhaps your own sin has torn apart your relationships. And so all happens at once with no end in sight, goes down hill from there, loss of home, job, family and other possessions. What good can come from that? How does one become strong through a battle with cancer, or a family member who is very ill? A closer look and one could think God is picking on them. But what if God is already at work behind the scenes creating a masterpiece to be used for His purpose only? To turn your brokenness into wholeness, It seems that only through difficulty, trial and dark despair that God can use us the most, because in all that mess there is a sparkling "diamond in the rough" rising from the ashes.
