Raised in the small Florida town of Lake Como, Wes stayed local in attending Florida State University where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in film production. It is here that Wes first gained attention for his first animated student film, A WORK IN PROGRESS. That film was honored with a Student Academy Award by the Academy of Motion Pictures and Fine Arts. Off of the success of A WORK IN PROGRESS, Wes sold his first feature film idea, THE TREEHOUSE, to Warner Brothers Pictures. Shortly after laying the foundation for the independent animation company, Wes found himself working alongside Tom Hanks on the IMAX-3D documentary MAGNIFICENT DESOLATION, where he was the Pre-Viz Animation Supervisor. In addition to this critically acclaimed project, Wes and his team have designed title sequences, created CG-animation and visual effects for such companies as Playtone, The Walt Disney Company, Universal Pictures, and Spike TV, among others. Wes' life changed greatly in March of 2012 with his digital release of the 3-D short film RUIN. The short was only a tiny glimpse at a larger story, but garnered over 5 million hits hits in its initial run online. The film catapulted Wes into the conversations of young directors to watch. Two months later, the feature version of RUIN sold to Fox Studios in a pre-emptive bid. That same week, the studio began talks for him to direct his first feature film, THE MAZE RUNNER, based on the best-selling YA novel by James Dashner. Wes went on to make his directorial debut with Fox on the film. THE MAZE RUNNER hit theaters in September 2014 and was a massive success, making ten times its budget at the box office. Wes just finished the sequel, THE SCORCH TRIALS, which will be released on September 18th this year. You can email your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org or follow us on Twitter @123Film

Published on Sep 25, 2015 -NBC's "The Voice" Top 10 Finalist, Bria Kelly, debuts arguably the most sobering anti-dog fighting video ever produced. The song was written by BMI songwriters, Amy Hines and Donna Hughes, who are both passionate about dogs and work to educate the population about animal rights through their music.
On July 25th, actors, writers, producers and Bria Kelly showed up on 1915 Moonlight Rd. in Smithfield, VA once the home of Michael Vick's "Bad Newz" dog fighting compound (now home of Dogs Deserve Better that operates the Good Newz Rehabilitation Center for Chained & Penned Dogs) to create what could only be described as a “surreal” experience. After 22 hours of filming on the very property where dozens of dogs had been fought and died, no one left without having a life altering experience.

"Five-star” is a term in recruiting reserved for the nation’s elite. Roughly 30 players each year are awarded the coveted fifth star next to their name by the recruiting websites. Does that mean every five-star athlete is a lock to be a superstar and future NFL first-round pick? Of course, not. Dozens of these recruits have lived up to the hype and have been extremely deserving of their five-star ranking. But who are the names that didn’t deserve it? Who are the biggest five-star busts of the BCS era? Who are the forgotten names across the states who were promised to bring championships to their respective universtities only to fall into college football obscurity forever? Join @JaiHov, @Lock_tha_Great and the producer of the show @Howezzy26 as they discuss the hottest sports news of the past week and provide a year-by-year breakdown of the biggest five-star busts of the BCS Era.
