    Herbs That Heal

    in Environment

All chefs know that the secret to good food is fresh herbs. Whether you are a chef or just someone who appreciates the flavor of fresh, organic herbs, having an herb garden is becoming an essential part of every home environment. In addition to culinary uses, herbs are also grown for a myriad of reasons such as natural remedies, fragrance, beauty, to dye textiles, for attracting pollinators and even to repel other insects. Some herbs are even grown for spiritual ceremonies and rituals. While there are many uses for herbs, growing your own herbs is something that everyone should incorporate into their home environment. It is economic, good for the environment and good for your health! Tammi Hartung, author of Homegrown Herbs- A Complete Guide To Growing, Using and Enjoying More than 100 Herbs, will share her stories and inspirational guidelines for growing and using herbs as a part of ones daily lifestyle. She will discuss ways to garden on the windowsill during cold seasons and outdoors in the garden the rest of the year. She will describe ways to cook with herbs, how to prepare them for a proper cup of tea and how to use them in the bath. Tune in to this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, host, June Stoyer talks to Herbal Goddess, Tammi Hartung.

Fantasy Freeway ~ Setting a Draft Kings lineup for March Madness, Sunday games!

    in Sports

In the episode of Fantasy Freeway, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, sponsored by Cover That Spread, JA and Troy will set a Draft Kings Lineup, for the NCAA Tournament games, on Sunday.  Last week, the boys put together a lineup, that finished 14th. This was their highest finish, of the year. Then added another $15, to the Million Dollar Ramble.  If the lineups win, the money is allocated, for the RLSN Million Dollar Ramble.

Today, with 16 NCAA games on the slate, the boys will enter two college basketball contests.  The first will be the all day "Buzzer Beater", and then the evening "Buzzer Beater".  If you are not playing Draft Kings, and would like to get involved http://partners.draftkings.com/aff_c?offer_id=124&aff_id=115449, it is easy to start.  Draft Kings will double your first deposit, up to $200.  We do not guarantee anything, but we will give you our best value players.  The waiver we talk about on the show, if JA and I agree not to play someone, you should probably put them in your lineup.  Secondly, there will be one player, on our roster, that has an undisclosed injury, or suspension, minutes before game time.  As Kenny Rodgers says "If your going to play the game boy, you gotta learn to play it right."  Therefore, for all you Draft King guru's listening in, call the show today and give JA and Troy your input on how you set your lineup.
