You will hear new things today about lawyers, lawsuits, and clients, like: how much you should budget for your legal problem, how to find the right lawyer for your case, what a reasonable lawyer hourly rate is, how lawyers resolve cases and what that means about how you will be charged, why lawsuits take so long and cost so much, and what you can do to make sure that you’re being charged fair attorneys’ fees for your case.
In today’s show, Jim will talk about how to analyze the steps necessary to resolve a lawsuit, how to evaluate the difficulty likely to be encountered at each step, how to gauge the overall litigation strategy of the other side, and how to thus calculate an accurate “bottom line” for almost any lawsuit.
Jim Wawro brings to this subject successful experience as an associate in a Wall Street law firm, a founder of an AV-rated small firm, a freelancer, an administrative partner for a 300-lawyer Silicon Valley firm, and a senior partner managing a 50-lawyer department in a 1400-lawyer mega-firm. As such, Jim has rendered, reviewed, paid, litigated, or arbitrated thousands of bills for attorneys’ fees in the context of virtually every type of litigated matter and practice situation.
In the back of every litigant’s mind is the thought: “How much is this going to cost me?” Many have wondered how to understand, estimate, and control the cost of a lawsuit. Jim Wawro’s short book, RIGHT ON THE MONEY: How to Accurately Estimate Litigation Attorneys’ Fees, provides specific, easy to apply guidelines for accurately evaluating the key factors to resolving any lawsuit at an acceptable worth and cost. All of his books are listed at www.ActivateIntuition.com and on Amazon.
Jim Wawro, author of "Ask Your Inner Voice: Conscious Communication With the Truth Within", was an international litigation lawyer for nearly three decades, who gave up his law firm partnership in order to dedicate himself to writing about the inner voice, the ever-flowing stream of wisdom coming to each individual from the light within. Join me today to chat with Jim about discovering the secrets of the inner voice: what it is, how to recognize it, how to contact it, how to listen to it, how to test it, when to rely on it, and how to distinguish it from other inner promptings. Tonight Taurea Avant is going to be discussing the Number One sold self-help book in the world which is Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich". Make sure you have joined the Visionary Book Club by going to www.VisionaryBookClub.com
On tonight's review, we are reviewing Chapter 2 of this top World Selling Book
Think and Grow Rich is a 1937 motivational personal development and self-help book by Napoleon Hill inspired by a suggestion from Scottish-American businessman Andrew Carnegie. While the title implies that this book deals with how to get rich, the author explains that the philosophy taught in the book can be used to help people succeed in all lines of work and to do or be almost anything they want. Jim Murray wrote that Think and Grow Rich was credited for Ken Norton's boxing upset of Muhammad Ali in 1973. The Reverend Charles Stanley writes, "I began to apply the principles of (Think and Grow Rich) to my endeavors as a pastor, and I discovered they worked!" The book was first published during the Great Depression. At the time of Hill's death in 1970, Think and Grow Rich had sold more than 20 million copies and by 2011 over 70 million copies had been sold worldwide. It remains the biggest seller of Napoleon Hill's books. BusinessWeek Magazine's Best-Seller List ranked it the sixth best-selling paperback business book 70 years after it was published. Think and Grow Rich is listed in John C. Maxwell's A Lifetime "Must Read" Books List.
