Ask The Aromatherapist: Aromatherapy For Sports And Fitness

    in Education

Aromatherapy is an important part of preventative support, especially for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

If you play a sport or work out on a regular basis, you may want to add some essential oils to your sports kit to help you stay in great form. Because many oils have antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties; they are great for preventing strains and sprains, relieving pain and some can even help to improve stamina. If you are new to the idea of aromatherapy for sports injury prevention and you are already suffering from a strain, you can also use them to support your recovery.

This call will specifically examine how essential oils may support your fitness goals in these areas: Cardio/Aerobics; Pilates & Yoga; Weight Training; Swimming; Cross-Fit Training!!!

And, continue to follow this event page for updates on another contest and upcoming information on next month's love & passion show:

The Debasement of Religious Worship – Part 1

    in Christianity

Since the Scriptures declare there is one Lord, one faith and one baptism, then why does the modern Evangelical Church look so different than anything ever defined or practiced by the historical Church?  The answer is simple: they call it Emergent but God calls it apostasy.

For the next few weeks Standing Firm will be discussing the topic of worship.  In this series, The Debasement of Religious Worship, we will discuss the doctrinal errors and practices of apostate Evangelicalism and define the doctrine of worship Biblically, theologically and practically.

Don’t be fooled by the worship of the creature masquerading as Christian worship.  There is nothing Christian about it.  For if it was Christian it would be subject to the Word of God.

John Carver Show - In Spite of It

    in Self Help

"In Spite of It" is a sermon I shared that illustrates, in many ways, how important it is to stay focused even in your most frustrating times.  It's NOT easy but it's essential if you want to achieve great things in your life.

“Strength is gathered on the journey, not granted at the outset.”  ? Jared Brock

Jesus, even in his last hours, cared for one that society didn’t value.

You would think that the people who were there to arrest Jesus would have paused and reconsidered.  They had an agenda.  They were being threatened.

Jesus didn’t allow the moment to distract His momentum!

John 6:38 - "For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

Either you run the day or the day runs you.  — Jim Rohn

The first step toward success is taken when you refuse to be a captive of the environment in which you first find yourself.  — Mark Caine

Dan Pearce, Single Dad Laughing  -  “Every time we look at the clock, we must learn to feel a sense of urgency. We must learn to realize that “now” is happening and will very soon be gone. We must look at the digits on the display and be overcome with an urge to do something before those digits change. Before “now” slips through our fingers. We must look at the ink on the calendar and see an immediate opportunity to do something wonderful, incredible, or beautiful.

It’s that simple. We need to change our thinking from “when the number changes” to “before the number changes”.

“Chances are no matter how bad your troubles seem to be, someone somewhere, with less resilience, has successfully conquered a more severe version of your problems.” ? Gary Hopkins

MORNING TALK WITH THE RED HAWK

    in Lifestyle

Good morning, good morning, GOOD morning!!!  Happy Friday!!!!  We made it!!! WWWoooowwwhhhhoooo!!!  Okay, SORRY, I know some of ya'll ain't morning peeps, and it grates your nerves to see and hear such happiness, THIS early in the morning, and I'll try to keep it down.  But anyway, today's topic is, APOLOGIZE.  Tee hee hee, how appropriate, and I am truly sorry that I'm so happy and excited that it's Friday, but if ya'll had a start to the week, like I did, and you're on the other end of the week, safe and sound, you'd be pretty darn happy too.  So today we gonna talk about the topic, APOLOGIZE, and I think it's a great topic, simply because the word "SORRY" can mean so much, especially if there's action to back it up, cause just merely saying it, and not truly meaning it, backing it up with the action that will prove, that it was sincere, is not enough.  Anywho, as always, if you'd like to drop the Hawkie a love offering, please do so, thru http://www.paypal.com, using the email address, redhawk1967@hotmail.com or if you'd like to utilize me as your life and empowerment coach, visit me at http://theredhawk1967.wix.com/stwrhtheshow, and we can go from there.  Look to hear from you soon, and you can always send me an email, just because, or letting me know how you like the show, or don't like the show, just drop me an email.  Let's engage and get to know each other, after all, if you're a listener, you're a SWEET HAWK.
