JOIN CHOC'LET LIVE W/ JIM GILSTRAP ...Born in Pittsburgh.....Texas that is!... a small town 100 miles east of Dallas. His family moved to California when Jimmy was in his teens. Jim was drafted into the service during the Vietnam war. When his stint with the Navy ended Jim came home and quickly landed a job with the U.S. Postal Service. But music was in his blood and it wasn't long before he began going to auditions. His first group gig was with The Doodletown Pipers, after leaving the Pipers he hooked up with The Cultures. The Cultures were popular behind the scenes and for two years (1972-1974) Gilstrap honed his vocals behind such luminaries as The Temptations, The Jackson Five, Barbara Streisand, Rod Stewart and many others.
Doing session work during the early 1970's led to his tenure with Stevie Wonder's Wonderlove. As part of Wonderlove he sang on four of Stevie's classic albums: "Music Of My Mind," "Talking Book," "Innervisions" and"Fulfillingness First Finale" as well as sessions with Syreeta Wright and Minnie Riperton, among others. Hanging on his wall is a platinum album, given to him by Wonder for his vocal work on "You Are The Sunshine Of My Life."

Join us LIVE @8:00 PM CST on PROPHECY QUAKE as we look at the flood of eastern mysticism and outright witchcraft that has come into the church through leaders like Mike Bickle, Jason Upton, Jim Goll, the late Bob Jones, Rick Joyner, Tony Campolo, Rob Bell, Richard Foster, Dallas Willard, Rick Warren, Leonard Sweet, Thomas Merton and many more. They are teaching everything from visualization, repetitious words or phrases in prayer, and even astral travel. These deceivers are leading a generation of young people and weak Christians into demon possession and Satan’s counterfeit supernatural manifestations. We must take a stand against ALL pagan practices and cleanse ourselves and our churches from this demonic contamination in the name of Jesus Christ. If we don’t, many will not be able to stand against temptation or the great deceptions of the coming Antichrist and his false prophet. God help us! ANATOMY OF OPPRESSION –PART IV
We supposedly have the inalienable right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but Black and Brown people live now and have always lived under and around arbitrary authority that is white authority. Control of education is an integral part of democratic organization - a very natural and obvious structure. Community control of police is against the organization of government control from the top down.
Jim Crow is not dead but alive and well and growing by the minute. The question for our next broadcast is...Do we have the emotional capacity to deal with this reality?
This week we will revisit the COMMUNITY CONTROL struggle for education and the NYC 20 billion dollar school budget as it relates to the reality of our struggle against oppression for freedom and liberation.
“CATS DON’T EDUCATE MICE; THEY EAT THEM.” - Ralph Poynter
A youth on Twitter sent this tweet: "#If I die in police custody. Tell my family I loved them. But don't listen to their calls for peace. BURN THIS *** DOWN TO THE GROUND!"

In Second to None, author Joe Valerio tells the incredible story of the Buffalo Bills: the perpetual almost-champions and their indomitable fans. The Bills' incredible skill and teamwork on the field was matched only by their single-minded determination as, in the four years spanning 1991 to 1994, the team won four consecutive conference championships, and lost four consecutive Super Bowls. The peaks and nadirs of their record reflect a fascinatingly dynamic, uneven, and—at times—uncontrollable array of talents. Valerio renders in sharp detail how the Bills' unique culture was formed by an unlikely ecosystem of world-class athletes hunkered down in bleak western New York, far away from the celebrity playgrounds of other pro teams. Meticulously researched and carefully crafted, this one-of-a-kind look inside the Super Bowl-era Buffalo Bills is based on extensive interviews with the key players, coaches, and management, including Hall of Famers Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Bruce Smith, as well as coach Marv Levy, general manager Bill Polian, and many others, including players and coaches from opposing teams, and the reporters who covered them.
Jordan Spieth has so far this year won a whooping $8 million in prize money with two majors and a slew of Top-10 finishes. At the tender age of 21 the sky’s the limit for golf’s newest bright star and co-hosts Fred Altvater and Carlos Torres will have this as the main topic on The Practice Range.
On The Par-5 News presented by United Golf Network after grilling Fox Sports last week for their golf coverage during their first stern test at the US Open, we’ll give them kudos for their improvement at the Senior US Open; also Jim Justice wants US Open for new course; Se Ri Pak and Jason Day most recent withdraws; Lydia Ko is nominated for an ESPY; PGA of America President Derek Sprague was in the middle of escaped prisoner’s saga in upper NY and an ex-NFL player brought Jordan Spieth to Under Armour.
The Very Important Guest (VIG) of the Week is Wally Greeves, our globetrotter travel insider, discovering the best golf travel options, will talk about his recent travels to South Africa and the three weeks he spent in China.
