JFK AND THE UNSPEAKABLE WITH JIM DOUGLASS

    in Politics

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the of President Kennedy's murder. It is remarkable that as signs of plots within the government to support the aims of those who profit from the military-industrial complex grow more obvious, fewer Americans believe today that he was killed as the result of a conspiracy than 10 years ago, despite the fact that the House Select Committee on Assassinations ruled that it was in 1977.When the Obama administration refused to declassify an estimated 16,000 files on the JFK assassination 50 years after the fact, Americans need to question the need for secrecy. Understanding why and how Kennedy was killed is essential to understanding why Americans are having their rights stripped as America is turned into a police state and the rest of the world is under military and economic assault by the corporate powers that control the US government. On Taking Back America on August 5 at 9 AM PST/ 12 PM EST, Jim Douglass, author of JFK and the Unspeakable, considered by many to be the most important book ever written about the assassination. While highlighting the most important evidence for how the conspiracy was carried out, it provides an explanation of why it was carried out by meticulously examining Kennedy's turn toward peace and how that threatened the corporate powers who had already gained power in every branch of government necessary to carry out the plot. This show will be rebroadcast on August 17 at 9 AM PST/ 12 PM EST on the Star Com Radio network.Take Back America for the People is an educational nonprofit whose mission is to educate the American public on true costs of corporate control of the US government.Know the truth and the truth will set us free.

North Florida’s Mixed-blood Indian People, Rediscovery of a Forgotten People
In the early 1800s, dozens of Siouan-speaking Cheraw families, including Catawbas and Lumbees, fled war and oppression in the Carolinas and migrated to Florida; just as native Appalachicola Creeks were migrating away. Being neither Black nor White, the Cheraw descendants were persecuted by the harsh “racial” dichotomy of the Jim Crow era and almost forgot their proud heritage. Today they have rediscovered their past. This is their story.
Creek Eastern Siouan Cheraw Indians, generally located in the panhandle of Florida. Related groups (Porch Creek, Redbones, Brass Ankles, etc) in which we can establish a surname connection locally or by association later (Mt Tabor Community).
The Apalachicola River Indian Community Conference is a non-profit community-based tribal organization that works for the political, social, legal, and spiritual welfare of the Creek/Eastern Siouan Cheraw Indian people in the panhandle of north Florida. Its focus is to foster tribal cultural identity and unity, documentary historical research into our origins and history, and provide venues for communication, awareness, and growth. We are the descendants of the Indian people who lived in the 3 settlements whose history is documented in the “Our History” part of this website. These are surnames in our community:

    Frat House Saturday #16

    in Sports

If you haven’t before, TODAY is the DAY to tune in to our final “relaxed” Frat House Saturday program with Frat House Mike bringing you some of the fun from this past pre-holiday week on the Frat House Sports Radio Network.

Jim Williams sounds off BIG TIME on the Philadelphia Eagles right at the start of Wednesday’s Inside the War Nest program . . . before bringing in their special guest from TheGiantsBeat.com, David Aitken to chat about a meaningless final game against the New York Giants.

There are so many confusing and perhaps ridiculous playoff scenarios floating as we enter the final regular season week of the NFL . . . and we start it off with Frat House Mike and Brandon seemingly keeping it straight on Tuesday’s Red Zone Blitz program chatting about the final Wild Card in the AFC and the ridiculous NFC South!

Finally, we couldn’t close the regular season without another “4 Minutes of Football” starring Rex Ryan, the Thugs-of-the-NFL, and Kurt Warner. And, don’t forget our Picks-of-the-Week with an extra gift in the mix: Cleveland Browns – Baltimore Ravens / Carolina Panthers – Atlanta Falcons / Detroit Lions – Green Bay Packers / St. Louis Rams – Seattle Seahawks / Cincinnati Bengals – Pittsburgh Steelers.

Be sure to be there from the top of the show for FHS's famous Frat House Mike's Saturday Commentary!

Give it a listen and be sure to give Mike a call at 347 – 826 – 9964 . . . because, he’s all by himself, and needs someone to talk to!

Bliss point part 3 with Dr. Brown

    in Self Help

Clinical Psychologist Dr. E. Douglass Brown is the guest speaker, or this re-broadcast show, to talk about the Bliss Point. This is his 3rd installment of this special topic. He says, “Each person is a traveler who journeys first from a condition of knowing nothing, then to a condition of infantile self-obsession, then to a condition of being possessed by anyone or anything that the person thinks can induce pleasure and relieve discomfort. Some of us eventually make it to a state of freedom from bondage to fleeting urges, affiliations, and ego-attachments. That state of freedom is commonly referred to as Higher Consciousness - aka - the ‘Bliss Point.’ It is 'what I want' as I near the end of my journey – not what someone else wants for me, it is 'what I hope to become' as I near the end of my journey, not what someone else wants me to become.”
