Are we the author of our own destiny?
Join me for a candid conversation with Jihan Barakah as she talks about the paradox of being the authors of our own destiny and co-creators of our reality.
As the Founder of The Global Quantum Shift, Jihan Barakah’s heartfelt mission in life is to inspire people to explore and experience their innate potential and to align with one’s authentic nature.
During the past 15 years, Jihan has dedicated most of her time and work towards serving people from across the world through her coaching practice and workshops, as well as through her passion for live media as the producer and host for four radio/internet shows and a television show on NBC’s affiliate in Austin, Texas.
After taking a hiatus from work during the past year, Jihan once again responded to a call to reenter the world of live media and film, as an Executive Producer for The Soul-Directed Life on Unity FM, and as the Executive Director for Marketing and Public Relations for The Wisdom Tree Film.

Most of us compare ourselves to others. What if instead, we compared ourselves to our potential? It’s not about being THE best, it’s about being OUR best.
Founder of The Global Quantum Shift, Jihan Barakah, has dedicated her life to encouraging and inspiring all of us to explore and experience our true potential. Wise and authentic, she teaches through the empowering stories from her Indian grandmother that we should discover and connect with what is truest and best in us, then bring that to our daily lives. It’s a discussion about love, trust, potential and greatness. More about Jihan Barakah www.twitter.com/JihanBarakah

This is a black arts and culture site. We will be exploring the African Diaspora via the writing, performance, both musical and theatrical (film and stage), as well as the visual arts of Africans in the Diaspora and those influenced by these aesthetic forms of expression. I am interested in the political and social ramifications of art on society, specifically movements supported by these artists and their forebearers. It is my claim that the artists are the true revolutionaries, their work honest and filled with raw unedited passion. They are our true heroes. Ashay!
