Putting love on your skin - Sally B's Skin Yummies

    in Women

With passion and unwavering ambition, Sally Larsen finds the perfect balance of health and beauty with Sally B’s Skin Yummies, her handmade line of natural and organic skincare products and makeup.  A firm believer that health and beauty are dependent upon one another, the self-confessed “product girl” began making her own good-for-your products in 2003 when she noticed a void in the organic skincare market.  What began as a personal journey to replace her chemical-rich beauty products quickly turned into an in-demand hobby among her friends, motivating Sally to found Sally B’s Skin Yummies in 2005.

Launching Sally B’s Skin Yummies with just two products, her now famous Shea Butter Bar and Healing Hand Butter, Sally established Skin Yummies to share the positive benefits of a healthy beauty regime with the world and also stake her own personal claim in the organics industry, the “unofficial Larsen family business.” While she wasn’t exactly raising bees and harvesting her own honey like her father, she spent countless hours researching and testing organic and natural ingredients as alternatives to preservatives, chemical additives and harsh irritants often found in beauty products.  As she learned, created and experimented, her initial small offering grew into a product line of over 30 must-have lotions, potions and other good-for-you creams.

THE DAILY COMPLAINT (GREEN TREE SERVICING/ESCROW FRAUD/CFPB/GOVT HELP/RIGHTS)

    in Finance

    TODAY'S SPOTLIGHT:

GREEN TREE SERVICING INCREASED PAYMENT ON FIXED MORTGAGE ESCROW FRAUD AG ADVISES LAWSUIT CONSUMER RIGHTS GOVERNMENT HELP CONSUMER FINANCIAL PROTECTION BUREAU DOJ

    "the daily complaint"

Every weekday we answer client complaints on The Daily Complaint to provide direction and resources for both the person complaining as well as other consumers experiencing similar issues whether it be mortgage fraud, loan servicing escrow issues, loan modification runarounds or denials, short sale refusals, deed in lieu negotiations and credit card debt collector abuses and fraud violations.

I routinely look for posts to answer in hopes that it will not only bring optimism to those homeowners and borrowers in distress but also some basic information to assist in fighting the banks that are "too big to fail" like Bank of America and Citi but yet don't appreciate the bailout that we provided in their time of need.  The debt collectors like Ocwen and Nationstar are simply just piranhas but they can be beat at their own game too just like the big banks can be defeated.

We are committed to answering consumer complaints and addressing everyday credit and debt issues on The Daily Complaint and I thank you for your continued support!

We hope you enjoy the Show...

If nobody has too much, everybody will have enough. (RG Ingersol)

    in Atheism

This installment of The Forbidden Fruit will discuss greed and capitalism in America and the world. The late great Robert Green Ingersol once said that "If nobody has too much, everybody will have enough." Let's look at that statement today. How true is it and is it a reality? How did we get here to this point of not caring about your brothers and sisters? A lot of us know that prayer won't get us out of this. It will take real work and sacrifice from real humans on this planet. We are all we got. Let's talk about it here on the Fruit.

Violet ReikiRadio -By Popular Demand-Dr. Sheldon Marc Feldman's interview

    in Health

Dr. Sheldon Feldman is chief of breast surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center and assistant professor of surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons where he oversees the breast cancer surgery program at the Comprehensive Breast Center of the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia, and work in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of radiologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, plastic surgeons and other breast cancer support staff.

Dr. Feldman is helping to pioneer the use of the ductoscope, a tiny endoscope inserted through the patient's nipple used for diagnosis, surveillance and treatment of cancer patients. His research using the device may help lead to a simple test for early diagnosis that could eventually be the equivalent of a Pap smear for breast cancer. Dr. Feldman anticipates that the intraductal approach will ultimately be used to treat early breast cancer as well as ablating the milk ducts to prevent cancer development for high-risk women as an alternative to mastectomy.

A leader in minimally invasive breast cancer surgery, Dr. Feldman was instrumental in developing the transmammary axillary lymph node evaluation (TANE) procedure, which requires only a single incision for lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node biopsy. He is also an expert in oncoplastic skin-sparing and nipple-preserving mastectomy.

His research interests are focused on preventing the disease through a better understanding of environmental toxins linked to breast cancer, including chlorinated pesticides, PCBs and PBDEs, and he is helping to investigate new biopharmaceutical treatments, including green tea extract and vitamin D.
