    Why Jesus the Christ? part 2

    in Christianity

    The topic of the show is Why Jesus the Christ? Currently we are going thorugh the history of man having started with the creation and making it to Moses in the last show. We are not looking at creation or history as indepth topics but merely skimming through in order to get to Jesus the Christ.  Jesus is the salvation of mankind, there is none other.

    Listen in, feel free to call with questions but keep your questions and/or comments related to the show. We have thirty minutes and it goes by quickly.

    In Christ,

    Monk Michael

    Like a Child: The Gift of Jesus at Christ-mas (Gold)

    in Christianity

    The month of December is the time that we acknowledge, honor, and celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is the time that we gather with our families and remember the greatest gift of love God gave us through Jesus. In turn we bless others with gifts to honor that greatest gift. When the wise men came they brought gifts to honor the King, Priest, and Sacrifice in the person of Jesus. Tonight we will teach on the gift of gold and its significance to Jesus. Talk with you then.

    Admit - Believe - Confess ( Connect With God through Jesus (The Christ) The Word

    in Christianity

    Pastor Demetrios, Host Of Wall Less Ministries (Ray Of Hope), Discusses the simple introduction of "God's How to Recieve The Gift of Salvation and Connect with God in fellowship through Jesus, The Christ - The Word -The Son Of God - God"

     8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
    9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
    10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:8-10 KJV

    1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

    2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

    3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:1-3KJV

    Why Jesus the Christ?

    in Christianity

    The question remains still today; why Jesus the Christ? why should we worship Jesus? Why is He different from Buddha, or Mohammed, or Hare Krishna? How is this man different from all other men? How can a man be called God? why do we even need a Savior, why can't we just go to God directly?

    This will be a series on which the duration will depend on the number of calls that come in. Please do not hesitate to call in with your questions. When calling also remember that the show is why Jesus? To answer this question we will go back to creation itself and the fall but will not encompass an indepth discussion of either one but will use them as a stepping stone to answer the question of; why Jesus?

    The above said topics will come later as their own indepth topics so please remember to keep your questions related to the topic of why Jesus? We look forward to the show and hope that you do as well.

    In Christ,

    Monk Michael

    John Carver Show - The Compassion of Jesus (R. W. Schambach)

    in Christianity

    When it comes to Christian preachers and evanglists there are a lot of "nut jobs" that have adopted the title.  There have been few, however, who was as genuine as Rev. R. W. Schambach.  I had the opportunity on more than a few occassions to observe the "behind the scenes" of his meetings and the man himself.  He was genuine.

    His love for people, especially those in the inner cities, was beautiful.  His compassion for the hurting was remarkable.  His daughter, Donna, carries on his work at https://schambachfoundation.org/

    Today's show is a recording of one of his sermons called "The Compassion of Christ."

    1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

    4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

    5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

    6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

    7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

    8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

    9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

    10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
